The Chapel of Barolo
Here you can
In order to reach this unique chapel ride your bike down a slope among hamlets and vineyards. You may wonder why this chapel is so colourful. It was built at the beginning of 19th Century by a wealthy farmer who wanted every worker to have a shelter during rainstorms. The chapel was never consecrated and know it is knows as the Chapel of Barolo. During the Nineties it was renovated: the English artist David Tremlett made the new interiors while Sol Lewitt made the external arrangement with intense and vivid colours. At present it is used to host exhibitions and expositions. It is a perfect spot for stunning pictures and to admire the landscape.
