Between one village and another, you will alternate through the Ugento Natural Park, Punta Pizzo and Sant'Andrea Island Park, Portoselvaggio Park, the Marine Protected Area of Porto Cesareo, the Palude del Conte Reserve, the Tarantino coast Reserve, up to the mouth of the Chidro River.

The Salento Ionico cycle path is the complete route to explore this territory, it is a multi-stage route that spans 300 kilometers and is accessible to everyone. The cycle path is divided into 5 loop routes that allow for day trips.

The route passes through the municipalities of the Ionian-Adriatic Green Community: Alliste, Avetrana, Galatone, Gallipoli, Manduria, Nardò, Porto Cesareo, Racale, Taviano, and Ugento.
