E-bike Tour which starts from the slopes of the Castelli Romani, from our e-bike rental point in Grottaferrata, and which arrives in the very well known Appia Antica park. Coming down from Grottaferrata, through Marciana valley, in order to reach Roma, you will go through vineyards and you will witness so many fantastic panoramas. Arriving in Santa Maria delle Mole you will begin to travel along the Appia Antica. . You will have a joyful walk admiring the Berretta del Prete, the Casal Rotondo's mausoleum; on the right side of the route you can see the luxurious Villa dei Quintili and the church of Santa Maria Nova. Proceeding you will arrive to Capo di Bove and its museum. Later you will reach the Cecilia Metella's mausoleum, the Massenzio's circus and the Romolo's tomb. From this point on the open-air museum of the archeological park of the Appia Antica turns into un uncontaminated itinerary inside the nature. Approaching the Quo Vadis church you will turn right in order to reach the Caffarella park, looking at the valley you will see the Annia Reggilla's tomb and the church Santo Urbano. Passing the Caffarella park you will arrive to Parco degli Acquedotti and to Casale Vecchia Roma, finally you will come back to Castelli Romani.
Partendo dal punto di noleggio ebike di Mongiardino Ligure,si segue la stradina "via Crêuza" che ripercorre l' antica VIA DELLA SALATA. Il nome dice tutto.Era una delle strade dove le carovane di muli carichi di sale, erano diretti verso la Lombardia e il Piemonte.Arrivati alla frazione di Costa Salata ,si prosegue atrraverso uno stretto bivio che sale a sinistra, segnallato da una freccia di legno. Qui si abbandona lo sterrato,e la stradina sale tranquillamente, vi sono piccoli tratti in cui il terreno e' sconnesso ed e' raccomandabile ,scendere e spingere per il breve tratto l' e-bike,in alcuni punti vi sono delle pozzanghere.La stradina si immerge in un bosco di castagni.A un certo punto si incontra un grande prato verde ,girando a sinistra si entra in quel che rimane del paese e della piccola chiesetta dedicata a San Pasquale.
Ritornati nella strada principale si prosegue verso Borassi ,Frazione di Roccaforte Ligure . Il percorso prosegue verso Montemanno, e qui si gode di una bellissima vista sulla Val Sisola e sui vigneti di Timorasso,Arrivati a Sisola si rientra pedalando lungo la strada ormai asfaltata.

This path allows you to move from one ebike rental point to another, so that you have at your disposal not only the routes and GPS tracks starting from Chiusano San Domenico, but also those with origin at the Avellino cycle station in Contrada San Lorenzo, Atripalda.
This route can be cycled either one way or the other, depending on where you are. The GPS track is a little over 16 km long and takes about 2 hours to cover if it is travelled from Atripalda to Chiusano San Domenico; it will take about 1 hour if it is travelled downhill, i.e. from Chiusano San Domenico to Atripalda.
The road does not present any type of difficulty, so it can be tackled with all types of e-bike available for hire: city, trekking and full suspension e-MTB. By following the GPS track, you will avoid passing along the busier Strada Statale 7, also known as Vecchia Ofantina, preferring an itinerary that is more pleasant to follow and with less risk.
The following description was created assuming departure from the Atripalda rental point, at the Avellino cycle station. If, on the other hand, you depart from the Chiusano San Domenico hire point, all the information remains valid, inverting - naturally - their nature.
Leaving the Ciclostazione Avellino behind you, you only need to pedal your e-bike for 1 km to leave the bustling traffic of the city of Atripalda and take the SP5 after 200 metres uphill.
For almost 4 km you can enjoy the beauty of pedalling on a road that is not at all difficult, made up of pleasant ups and downs with small, short climbs followed by short downhill stretches. Although it has been replaced by the faster and more convenient motorway link, this road connects Atripalda and Serino and, therefore, may be affected by vehicular traffic: keep to the right in single file and pay attention.
After 3.7 km the navigator will ask you to turn left onto SP17. Here begins a 2 km climb, with no steep slopes. At the end of the climb, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Sabato valley and some magnificent vineyards. It is here, from these rows of vines, that some of Irpinia's finest wines are obtained, especially Fiano di Avellino. If you feel like it and if you have time, explore the surroundings in search of the most beautiful landscapes.
A beautiful descent will take you first to Sorbo Serpico and then to Salza Irpina, where you will have to face a short but steep climb to exit the town and turn right. For 500 metres you will ride on the SS7, with the village of Salza Irpina on your right, before turning left onto a secondary road with zero traffic. Relax and enjoy the pleasant climb (2 km) on your pedal-assisted bike. You will cross a dense and lush forest of beech and chestnut trees while maintaining a steady and decidedly rideable gradient. When you pass under an overpass and the forest gives way to a splendid panorama, it means that the climb is almost over. On your left you will have a wide view of Irpinia, with the Partenio Park, Montevergine and many small villages; on your left vineyards, countryside and the beauty of Monte Tuoro.
At the end of the road, turn right to join the SP39, which will take you to Chiusano San Domenico. When you come to a nice view (unfortunately transennined due to a landslide when this information sheet was written), it will mean you are entering the village. Go straight on, past Borgo Ripa (the old historic centre of Chiusano San Domenico, home of the journalist Carlo Nazzaro), the town square) and you have arrived. On the right, you will notice the orange sign of Reveló, the bike and rental point in Chiusano San Domenico of Ciclostazione Avellino.

The following text and the linked "hikes" routes are part of the Gallo Nero Bike Day event on last 20th September 2020. Together with the organising body we decided to let the routes be available all year round, hoping that more and more people decide to cycle on our roads. If you want to visit wineries, restaurants and businesses who joined the event, please call in advance because special menus and prices and opening times may vary without notification.
The two routes, the Granfondo (135 km, elevation difference 2621 m) and the Mediofondo (83 km, elevation difference 1526 m), offer breathtaking views of our countryside, the ultimate iconic Italian landscape. Starting in Radda in Chianti, where cyclists can admire the old city walls, and ending in Greve in Chianti, the birthplace of explorer and navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano, the route breezes by vineyards in the sunny Golden Basin of Panzano in Chianti, cuts through San Casciano and then dips down towards Castellina in Chianti, chosen by Michelangelo Buonarroti as his personal retreat. The long route meanders through the southernmost part of the territory, among lush vineyards and breathtaking hills, like the ones of San Regolo and Castagnoli. Both routes descend and rise several times, but don’t include highly technical incline climbs, allowing participants to enjoy the amazing landscape in its most glorious moment – the end of summer.

La Cascina Drusiana
Punto di partenza è la Cascina Drusiana, dove si inizia con una colazione/merenda con caffè e biscotti di riso (fatti con la Farina di Riso della Cascina Drusiana) e con una visita alla scoperta della storia e della tradizione rurale (la pileria di fine ‘800, l’antica ghiacciaia, i dormitori delle mondine).
La Cascina Gaietta
Con un itinerario pianeggiante semplice tra le risaie del Carnaroli DOP, si pedala poi nel classico panorama della Baraggia tra risaie e savana ai piedi delle Alpi, raggiungendo la Cascina Gaietta, dove si scopre come il riso possa diventare materiale da costruzione ecosostenibile!
Il Canale Cavour
Dopo il pranzo in cascina, con degustazione di due meravigliosi risotti, prosegue il tour in bici alla volta dello storico Canale Cavour e del sifone di Casanova Elvo con i suoi salti d’acqua. L'itinerario è ad anello, il rientro è alla Cascina Drusiana per la riconsegna delle E-Bike.

A rather long stage of about 70 km in the Ciocian countryside, between historical traditions and peasant folklore, wonderful medieval villages and sites of naturalistic interest with a wild and unripe charm.Laving Cassino and its imposing Abbey that overlooks it, we flank the course of two major arteries that lead south: the Autostrada del Sole and the Rome/Cassino railway line, which we cross several times along secondary roads. However, we remain on secondary roads and foothills, taking advantage of the already existing route of the Way of St. Benedict at least up to Roccasecca, a medieval town that competes with Aquinas for the birthplace of St. Thomas. We are a stone's throw from the beautiful Melfa Gorges, which certainly deserve a small detour from the GTL route. Continuing, we embrace the route of another great cycle path, the Eurovelo5, or via Romea / Francigena. We are now in the valley of the Ciociarian countryside, squeezed between two pre-Apennine chains: on the left the Lepini Mountains, on the right the Prenestini Mountains. Deviating from the cycle path towards the former, we have the Isoletta-San Giovanni Incarico Natural Park, a river and forest reserve, and the beautiful Pastena Caves. The road continues following the course of the Sacco river between ups and downs and castles, such as those of Roccasecca or Ceccano, until it reaches Frosinone, the third regional capital touched by the GTL.

The marvelous cycle path that runs alongside the Dora Baltea leads effortlessly to discover the countless wonders of the plain between Châtillon and Fénis. A succession of ever new glimpses make the journey a continuous and exciting discovery of this corner of Valle d'Aosta.
The route with the electric bike passes through wide meadows, cultivations of the valley floor, natural areas and several castles including Baron Gamba, Ussel, Passerin d'Entrèves and the magnificent and choreographic castle of Fénis.

L'ascesa ai corni è caratterizzata da una prima parte di 5km circa su strada provinciale asfaltata abbastanza trafficata con pendenza media del 5%
La seconda parte altri 4-5Km sempre di strada asfaltata in assoluta assenza di traffico veicolare dove la pendenza media sale al 8/9% medio
La terza e ultima parte di circa 1-1,5 km la si percorre su di uno stretto nastro in cemento in assoluta assenza di traffico veicolare, qui le pendenze diventano quasi proibitive, media del 12/13% con tratti che tocccano il 23/25%
Una volta giunti in cima si può godere di un panorama fantastico sulla citta di Lecco e ci si puà rilassare al rificio S.E.V.

Splendid tour in ebike or trekking between the vineyards of the Monferrato, valorized by the presence of small boats that recall the similarities between our hills and the waves of the sea.
The first boat is located in Piazza IV November, from which you can see the imposing Castello Veggi, having mediaeval origin that is placed to the left of the Church of San Bartolomeo, which has been celebrated for just 500 years since the renovation, while on the right is the building of the Municipality.
From there you have to go down on Via Roma and you can find on the right a bike rest alongside the "Muretto dei Vini", made by the very good fountanilese painter Luigi Amerio, while taking to the left you go down to Via Fontana until you find on the right a rest area ; overcoming the peanuts, you come to a jumper, you turn to the left by immersing yourself in the green on a path leading to a vineyard, you go up to the right by finding itself after a few metres the first picnic area with the second boat : from here you can see the valley on the right while on the left we find the country of Fontanile with its imposing Church of St. John having a dome of a raging size.
From there it is set aside by climbing up the hill by arriving at the top of the hill, you are redeemed in the middle of the vineyard by carrying out on the right and you proceed to the bottom of the yarn, turn right by climbing up the hill and arriving at the top of the top, on the left. From here you proceed and proceed to the path to the third boat : at this point it is possible to scroll through a breathtaking panorama without almost seeing the hand of man.
As you go down the path, you get to the bottom of the road, you turn to the left and you continue in the middle of the vines starting to go down to the bottom of the hill, turning to the right back to the road and then continuing to the ponticello, here you turn left and go back to the hillside along the path to a crossroads to which you have to take to the right to arrive at the boat number 4 : from here you can see the country of Castelletto seen from above, the vineyard rich in vineyards, the country of Fontanile seen from another perspective, the country of Mombaruzzo in the distance and, with a bit of luck also the mountains innervate.
To be able to head to boat number 5, you need to get down the hill from the same side from where you have climbed and, who arrived at the bottom of the trail, you go back to the paved road by taking to the left and climbing down the hill by immersing yourself in the middle of the most complete nature until you arrive on a flat piece and you can take it to the left to climb along another side, and find on the right a vines and on the left of the herbs for bees, after a few metres you turn right and you proceed to the picnic area with the boat.
From there you go down in the middle of the vines, heading back down the road and you are continuing to rise in the direction of Brich Oddone. Before you arrive at Brich Oddone you will find yourself on the right the boat number 6. Continuing along the path, you turn left to the top and you continue down the road (council : looking around because there is a crazy view at 360 degrees) to the bottom, you turn to the left and go back to the bottom of the road, you turn left again and proceed to the crossroads where you need to take a left down the descent until you see on the right the boat number 7.
From there you fall back down by a fifty-meter-long distance, turning right back to the right path and moving forward to the end of the vineyard, then left to the right, then you go back to the right, you go all the way down to the right, you turn to the left until you find a small elbow curve to the right, you are still in front of a vineyard : at the bottom of the vineyard, you can get to the top of the hill and find boat number 8 : in addition to the breathtaking panorama, if you had to hear a whirl yelling, yelling not worrying, is his call of love.
From here you descend down the hill in the middle of the orchard, turn to the left and go back to the paved road : from here you proceed to the front of the Chiesetta, where you find a rest area ; you turn right to the bottom of the road, you will be left to the left, and you are at the entrance to the country, it goes back along Via Roma and it returns to the starting point (near the Annunziata Park is another bike / rest area).

Exciting tour near the Nemi's lake, the wildest and the most adventouros between the Castelli's lakes, where nature dominates uncontested. During the itinerary you can visit the Nemus farm along the lake's bank, where the staff organises special plays in their " straw theatre" every saturday evening. Passing through the city of Nemi you can visit the famous "boat museum". next we arrive to Genzano and Rocca di Papa and we return to the base.
ATTENZIONE PERCORSO TECNICO. Si parte dall'abitato di La Magdeleine e proseguendo sulla strada principale si sale verso la frazione di Vieu. Raggiunto il tornante seguire le indicazioni per Grande Panchina Col Pilaz, sulla sinistra. Proseguire sulla strada asfaltata principale fino al raggiungimento dello sterrato a circa 2 km. Proseguire sullo sterrato senza prendere nessuna deviazione seguendo le indicazioni per Col Pilaz, laghi di Champlong. Una volta scollinato scendere e prendere il bivio con le indicazioni per Col Pilaz, Grande Panchina. Oltrepassare, seguendo la strada sterrata, la panchina gigante e inizare la salita senza prendere deviazioni seguendo le indicazioni per laghi di Champlong. Dopo circa 1,5 km si raggiunge il piccolo lago di Charey dove iniza il sentiero per intraprendere il single track. ATTENZIONE l'attacco del sentiero del single track si trova nella zona dello scarico del lago, occorre attraversare il ruscello e prendere il sentiero nel bosco a destra che sale gradualmente fino alla cresta. Iniziata la discesa proseguite seguendo l'unico sentiero che trovate, al bivio tenete la destra e continuate a scendere fino a raggiungere nuovamente la Grande Panchina al Col Pilaz. In lontananza sulla sinistra si vede un piccolo alpeggio, raggiungetelo passandolo alla sinistra e dopo circa 25 m prendere il sentiero che trovate alla vostra destra fino al raggiungimento della sede stradale. Una volta raggiunta la sede stradale prendere il sentiero a sinistra indicato come 1A e percorrerlo in discesa fino al raggiungimento delle ultime case dell'abitato di La Magdeleine. Tornerete nuovamente sulla sede stradale, svotate a destra e percorrete circa 600 m. Sulla sinistra si trova una strada bianca percorretela tutta, una volta arrivati in fondo sulla sinistra si trova l'inizio del sentiero, imboccatelo e senguitelo fino al raggiungimento delle ultime case dell'abitato di La Magdeleine. Raggiunte le case tenele la sinistra, passate davanti alla chiesetta e giunti sulla strada andate a destra. Proseguite per circa 300 m e prendete il sentiero che si trova alla sinistra prima del parcheggio. Salite fino al parcheggio di Clou e proseguite per tornare davanti al Bar Tantane' zona di partenza.
