Immergiti in an 'adventure enchanted as you cross a quaint path that will take you from the majestic Pragelato vettes to the quiet Laux Lake. Following the traces of ancient mountain trails, you will embark on a journey in which you will be surrounded by breathtaking panoramas, embraced by the pristine nature of the Italian Alps. Breathe l 'off the fresh mountain, listen to the singing of the birds and feel the serenity spreading as you get closer and closer to the Lake Laux, a mirror d 'green water in the mountains.

This ebike tour in Ciociaria will allow you to discover, without too much effort, some traits of two among the most famous paths in all of Italy. It is part of Ceprano's rental point, where you can choose the electric bike best suited to you. After a few kilometers of pedalata you will enter a road, immersed in nature, which is part of the group of European cycling itineraries called EuroVelo. Along this route you will meet the Natural Monument Grotte of Falvaterra and Rio Obaco, where we advise you to stop to visit the interior of the Grotts or simply refresh yourself to its exterior. The second part of the itinerary envisages, then, to reach and take part of another historic path, the Via Francigena. This, away from the main routes, will lead you to the country of Ceprano and finally back to the rental point.
Bike + Train : with an increasingly careful eye to sustainability in the tourism sphere, at the request will be possible to rent the ebike directly from Ceprano-Falvaterra railway station. You can, therefore, reach Ceprano by train (connected directly with Rome and Naples), rent the ebike and re-mark it back to the same station at the end of the experience.
EuroVelo 5
EuroVelo is a group of cycling routes that cross all of Europe. In particular we find ourselves along the stretch called EuroVelo 5, also called "Via Romea Francigena" 3,900 kilometres long, which, once finished, will unite London in Brindisi, passing through Milan, Rome and our Ciociaria. After leaving Ceprano's rental point you'll be pedaling yourself right on secondary roads, immersed in the tranquility, sounds and perfumes typical of the campaign that will enrich your experience along the whole adventure. After a few kilometers you'll reach the SP151, which is part of the aforementioned EuroVelo 5, along which you'll meet some of the local trattories and producers, the reported Fontana Water Bianca, where you can stop to drink and fill up your borracks and, with a small detour from the main route, the Grottoes of Falvaterra.
Grotte of Falvaterra and Rio Obaco
Soon after leaving SP151 you will reach the Natural Monument Grotte in Falvaterra and Rio Obaco, a veritable hidden gem in the heart of Ciociaria. Here we advise you to stop to visit the interior of the complex (in this case you will need to reach the ticket office first, report on the map) or simply to rest on its exterior, where the temperatures fall sharply and, especially in the warmer days, you can enjoy the fresh from the caves and the torrent limpid spilling out of it.
Via Francigena
Back in the saddle to your ebike, you will be walking a few kilometers until you reach the dam that will allow you to cross the Liri River and arrive at the Lake St. John Inload. In a short time you will find yourself along the Via Francigena (also reported by numerous road signs) that will take you to pedal first around the lake and then on a long white road that crosses the woods, away from paved roads and cars. Once you return to the main road, continuing to follow the road signs also, you will be returning to a secondary road that will allow you to reach another small lake, that of San Giacomo. Among the local inhabitants, this small water mirror is known for its particular connection with the Moon : as can be seen from satellite images, in fact, its particular form reminds precisely that of a crescent ; the numerous elevations and lowering of the water level during the course of the year remind those of the tides in the Earth-to-Earth interaction ; finally, the road leading from the country to the lake (in the path is the one you'll encounter by leaving it) is called its own Via Guardaluna.
By continuing the path we reach, finally, the municipality of Ceprano once again crossed the river thanks to the historic bridge which in the past divided the Papal State from the Kingdom of the South and which was mentioned in an episode of the Divine Comedy. Right after you arrive in Ceprano's main square where you can choose whether to stop to drink an aperitif or continue to re-enter the rental point, where you'll have a relaxation area, a relaxation area in the greenery of a plateau, the bar and restaurant Le Ganze where you can reinstate your energies, eating typical dishes of the laitier and ciociara cuisine.

Si parte dal punto di noleggio BikeSquare di Casaleggio Boiro e attraverso la S.P. 170 si raggiunge l'abitato di Mornese, situato su di una collina circondata da boschi e vigneti e sul tracciato di un' antica via del sale che univa Piemonte e Liguria. Si attraversa il borgo antico in direzione Montaldeo, sulla S.P. 175 e si arriva nel centro del paese di Montaldeo, un piccolo borgo a vocazione agricola. Si prosegue sempre sulla S.P.175 fino ad arrivare al borgo di Castelletto d'Orba borgo medioevale che risale la collina con stradine tortuose e case in pietra. Al centro del paese si trova il Castello. Il paese deve la sua notorietà principalmente alle numerose sorgenti di acque medicamentose (minerali, alcune sulfuree), Il territorio è legato alla coltivazione dell'uva e alla produzione di rinomate tipologie di vini a DOC. Si esce dal paese in direzione Ovada e in corrispondenza della Chiesetta di colore bianco, si svolta a sinistra in Via Gallaretta seguendo le curve di questa strada che porta a Silvano d'Orba. Si attraversa il caratteristico borgo connotato dal suo imponente castello e noto per le sue distillerie di grappa. In corrispondenza di Via S. Giovanni si svolta a sinistra e poi si prende Via Merli, una salita panoramica che arriva alla chiesetta di S. Pancrazio da cui inizia una strada bianca panoramica seguendo la quale si ritorna a Casaleggio Boiro.

Let's take a trip to Montjuic, the hill hosting the 1992 Olympic Games, by electric bike. From the bottom of the hill a cable car will take us the 200 meters to the top of the hill where you can enjoy stunning views of the city.
We will stretch our legs as walk the castle and experience a 360° panoramic view of this magical city.
Then we will ride our e-bikes down to Port Vell, and climb aboard an ecofriendly catamaran to sail along the coast. We will see a completelly different perspective of the city and with the feel of the Meditertanean breeze we will enjoy a refreshing glass of Cava (included).
Once disembarked we will continue with our e-bikes through the Ciutadella Park and the magnificent Arc de Triomf.
NB: Our tours are conducted on comfortable electric bikes, suitable until 12 year old kids (or 1.45cm).
For smaller kids we have different options (trailers, child seats) so they can also enjoy the ride.

Starting from the rental point headquarters, cross the Po di Venezia, the main branch of the Po Delta and head towards the Po di Maistra. The itinerary continues on a pleasant cycle path that follows the course of the river up to the Ponte di Barche di Boccasette, from here it is possible to branch off the path towards Boccasette beach. Cross the bridge and head towards Scaranello, from here begins the Via delle Valli, which runs along the Valli da Pesca where among the reeds it will be possible to see the Pink Flamingos. The road leads to Porto Levante on the branch of the Po di Levante, go up the river skirting the fish farms in the valley up to the Sadocca hydro-shelter where you continue on the dirt road that leads to Ca 'Venier sul Po di Venezia from which you return to the start point

Il percorso
Il percorso è un itinerario dedicato ai luoghi che ispirarono l'ambientazione delle opere di Beppe Fenoglio. Con un'e-bike in poco tempo si potrà facilmente pedalare tra le colline su strade secondarie e poco trafficate raggiungendo le tappe d'interesse culturale. Tutto il tempo guadagnato sarà occasione per scoprire angoli nascosti e nuovi panorami per poi immergersi nella lettura di un frammento delle opere fenogliane che hanno fatto la storia della letteratura italiana. Riscopri la vita contadina di Agostino tra le mura del tipico Pavaglione, o soffermati davanti le rocche dei sette fratelli ad udire sulle righe di Fenoglio, l'eco della resistenza vissuta dal Partigiano Johnny.
Questi sono solo alcuni degli assaggi di un'esperienza dedicata al centenario dalla nascita di Beppe Fenoglio.

Thanks to our electric bikes this cycling tour is suitable for everybody, also those not particularly fit or families with kids.
We meet at our bike centre in Filattiera and start the tour from the beautiful Sorano Romanesque Church, crucial landmark along the pilgrimage route Via Francigea.
We cycle along secondary roads towards the hilltop Malgrate Castle, that commands the valley with its 25m tall tower.
We continue cycling across the Middle Ages passing by picturesque medieval villages and castles of Lunigiana, at the foot of the Apennine National Park and Mab Unesco Reserve.
Tasting-lunch with local products at: Locanda Gavarini a Mocrone, Agriturismo Il Picchio Verde or Agriturismo Montagna Verde according to the itinerary.
Meeting: 09.30 Tourist Information Point in Filattiera, next to the Sorano Romanesque Church. Tour ends approx. 16:30.

This route is very easy, even for families. Difference in height is very low, half route is on paved road and the second half is gravel. Just before the top of the mountain you will find a lawn with grass for picnic or a Bar-Restaurant for lunch or snacks.

Il marchesato di Saluzzo è molto antico e precede di gran lunga gli stati del rinascimento italiano, nasce infatti nel 1142 con il marchese di Saluzzo Manfredo I. Nei secoli sono cambiati i territori di competenza ma in linea di massima il marchesato di Saluzzo si identifica con le terre che stanno tra la Stura di Demonte e il Po, con le Alpi a fare da contrafforte.
Saluzzo, Staffarda e Revello sono tre luoghi simbolo del marchesato.
Saluzzo
Tra le tante scelte a Saluzzo potete trovare la Castiglia, la Chiesa di San Giovanni e Casa Cavassa. La Castiglia e l’antica residenza dei marchesi, oggi luogo museale e sede di mostre temporanee. La Chiesa di San Giovanni racchiude veri tesori d'arte, come le tre navate, l'abside con la cappella sepolcrale dei Marchesi, il chiostro quadrato, il refettorio e la sala capitolare. Casa Cavassa è stata dimora signorile dei Cavassa, vicari generali dei Marchesi, oggi museo civico con affreschi, quadri e arredi d'epoca (ospita la famosa pala d’altare della Madonna della Misericordia di Hans Clemer).
Staffarda
Staffarda è un’Abbazia Cistercense nata per concessione del Marchese di Saluzzo nel XII secolo. Importante sede religiosa e agricola, nasce su un terreno bonificato dai monaci e riveste da subito una centralità storica per il Marchesato. Oggi si può visitare nella sua completezza.
Revello
A Revello potrete invece trovare la Cappella Marchionale, residenza voluta nella seconda Metà del ‘400 dal Marchese Ludovico II (la cui tomba si trova proprio in San Giovanni a Saluzzo). La residenza fu poi utilizzata da Margherita di Foix, vedova di Ludovico II, nella prima metà del ‘500. La cappella Marchionale è completamente affrescata tra il 1480 e il 1512 da Hans Clemer e bottega. Oggi è visitabile, fa parte della sede del Comune di Revello.
Nel percorso ad anello potrete visitare molte altre realtà come il museo naturalistico del Fiume Po di Revello e il piccolo borgo di Castellar
Castellar
Partendo dalla stazione di Saluzzo è possibile raggiungere Castellar un piccolo borgo che vi accoglierà con il suo nobile castello. Per vederlo dovete raggiungere la cima della sua collina. Pedalando attraverserete un vero museo all'aria aperta...museo di reperti storici? di sculture? No, un museo di spaventapasseri! Vi assicuriamo che sono uno più bello dell'altro. Se capitate a Castellar nelle prime due domeniche di maggio potrete partecipare alla festa delle 'sentinelle dei campi' organizzata dall'Associazione Culturale Spaventapasseri.

SANTA SEVERA / BRACCIANO
In its sixteenth stage, the GTL once again leaves the sea to go inland, in the last stretch towards Rome, one of the most scenic: the Tolfa Mountains, the Sabatini Mountains and the area of the volcanic lakes north of Rome. Leaving Santa Severa and its castle, we take secondary roads in the countryside close to the Aurelia through the Macchiatonda Regional Nature Reserve, up to Cerveteri. Here it is certainly worth stopping for a visit to the splendid Etruscan necropolis of Banditaccia. From here we return to the coast to pass the seaside resorts of Ladispoli and Marina di San Nicola, connected to each other by a cycle path obtained from the route of the old railway line, near the imposing Odescalchi Castle. After San Nicola, the maritime landscape gradually gives way to barren hills first, and then to lush pine forests, until it climbs into the woods in the direction of Castel Giuliano, a few steps from the waterfalls of the same name and its ancient fortress. A little more climb near the Caldare di Manziana and its woods, and the vegetation becomes even thicker: we have reached what was the edge of the volcano, and we can look into the blue of its original crater, Lake Bracciano. The destination of this stage welcomes us in a spectacular way, with its tuff houses piled up and gathered around the imposing Odescalchi Castle.

Climb to the amphitheatre at the top of the village and admire the panorama from the distinctive purple giant bench.
Barolo
Barolo, home of the renowned wine, deserves an in-depth visit. Explore Falletti Castle and WiMu, an interactive wine museum that narrates the history and culture of local wine. Stroll through the village, stopping for tastings in historic cellars. The museum also offers tailored visits for families and young people, upon reservation.
La Morra
La Morra, nicknamed the "terrace of the Langhe", offers a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the hills and stretching to the Alps. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the historic centre and treat yourself to a break in one of the welcoming local wine bars. Although not accessible by bike, the Barolo Chapel, a contemporary artwork nestled among the vineyards, merits a separate visit.

E-bike tour to the Caves of Pastena
Starting with e-bikes from the rental point in Falvaterra, you ride a stretch of road immersed in the silence of nature, crossing rivers, cultivated land and wild woods. After crossing the wood you enter the SP151 which leads to the Caves of Pastena, where you can leave your bikes and visit one of the largest speleological complexes in Italy: majestic and suggestive rooms (of the Blue Lake, of the Bats, of the Weeping Willow), stalactites , stalagmites and columns with bizarre shapes that make the visit to the caves an exciting experience.
What to see in Falvaterra
After visiting the Caves of Pastena, you head back to Falvaterra, followin dirt paths and panoramic roads: in the last stretch make the most of the power of the ebike that will allow you to climb from the valley to the village. E-bikes are a great help for easily climbing uphill roads. Once you arrive in the Falvaterra village you can explore the suggestive squares and alleys of the historic center (on foot or on your e-bike) pervaded by history, culture and local traditions and which offer various panoramic views of the Latin Valley; we suggest you to stop at La Bottega Coquinaria da Luca and Serena to taste typical products in the so-called Torrione (a small square that thanks to its panoramic position becomes a fantastic viewpoint terrace).
E-bike tour to the Caves of Falvaterra
After the stop on the bike, you will cover the last 4 km until returning to the rental point at the Caves of Falvaterra where you can visit the underground complex that connects to that of the Caves of Pastena: this complex is characterized by active areas rich in water with waterfalls, rapids , gorges and lakes and you will have the opportunity to discover it both with a classic tourist visit (thanks to an internal walkway) and with a speleological visit by walking and swimming directly inside the crystalline stream and crossing lakes and waterfalls. Exploring these natural wonders is always a unique and breathtaking experience. The bike experience at the caves is always fantastic, the right mix of outdoor activities and adventure in these natural cathedrals.

A flat stage of sea and sand, which from the Pontine capital takes us to the places of the Odyssey, through history, nature and mythology. Mount Circeo, a promontory of incredible beauty stretching out towards the sea as if to testify to its past as an island, is according to tradition one of the landing places of Odysseus during his wanderings, the one where the Greek hero was welcomed by the sorceress Circe. The remains of a Roman temple on its summit were identified with his palace. The third stage of the GTL winds almost entirely along the route of Eurovelo 7, The Sun Route, or the long cycle path of the sun that takes us to the south of Europe A convenient cycle path from Latina takes us to the sea, near the first of the coastal lakes, that of Fogliano, where there is a WWF oasis that is a resting place for many water birds during their migrations. From here we continue through reclamation canals and coastal dunes to the promontory and the National Park, an incredible green lung of eucalyptus, maritime pines and Mediterranean scrub, within which the remains of the Villa of Domitian can still be visited. Skirting the coast to the south, we pass through the seaside resort of San Felice Circeo and its maritime caves, up to the stack of Terracina, a Greek and Roman colony, surmounted by the Temple of Jupiter Anxur. After Terracina, the last kilometers of the stage in the direction of Monte San Biagio try to avoid the Appian Way as much as possible, which after the ancient Papal Gate and the Pisco Montano narrows between the Ausoni and the sea, remaining on dirt roads and dirt roads around Lake Fogliano, in a semi-marshy panorama made up of migratory birds and coastal ponds.

Between one borgo and the other, alternates thus the Natural Park of Ugento, the Park of Punta Pizzo and the Isle of Sant' Andrea, the Park of Portoselvaggio, the protected Marine Area of Porto Cesareo, the Reserve of the Palude del Conte, the Reserve of the Tarantino littoral, up to the mouth of the Chidro River. You then enter into the land of the Primitivo by touching Manduria and Avetrana to return then to Lecce. The complete cyclovia and the 5 ring paths The Cycllovia of the Ionian Salento is the complete path to explore this territory, it is a ring path at the reach of all that develops in just over 300 kilometres in six recommended stages (Lecce, Nardò, Ugento, Gallipoli, Tower Lapillo, Avetrana). Overlapping for a good part of the main itinerary, are five ring paths that allow you to make excursions of a day or to arrange to measure your journey by bike : Escursion E-01 : from Ugento to Racale ;

THE UPPER SABINA
The eleventh stage of the GTL changes the landscape once again: we move away from the Apennines for the lower Sabine Mountains, heading west. But the lower altitudes should not deceive, since the slopes of these hills often prove to be more challenging and hard than the mountains proper, with their sudden and violent ups and downs. From Rieti we leave for the beautiful village of Contigliano, on little-frequented and lonely roads among olive trees and vineyards. We are a few steps from Greccio, a medieval town famous for its nativity scenes, certainly worthy of a detour. Hairpin bends, climbs and descents follow one another, giving villages resting on the "hillocks", the heights chosen for settlements since ancient times: Cottanello, Casperia, Cantalupo in Sabina. Only the end of the stage and the arrival in the Tiber valley offers a bit of descent and respite, up to the railway station of Stimigliano, the end of the stage – and a public velodrome, that of Forano.

Variant from the main route to the Selvino plateau at an altitude of 900 metres. Here one can find an oasis of tranquillity full of initiatives especially for families, with an adventure park and a minimarcia, which is attended by thousands of people every year.
The Sanctuary of the Madonna del Perello is worth a visit. It stands on the site where the Madonna is said to have appeared in 1413 to a farmer who found himself in the middle of a storm while making hay for his cattle on the slopes of Mount Perello.
