Si parte dal punto di noleggio BikeSquare di Casaleggio Boiro per compiere un anello sul quale tragitto si potranno vedere quattro castelli particolarmente suggestivi. Il percorso si svolge su strada asfaltata, da Lerma fino a Strada Bellaria e poi in Strada Casale Bacchetti. Si arriva all'abitato di Silvano D'Orba e si costeggia la collina del Castello. Si attraversa il caratteristico borgo connotato dal suo imponente castello e noto per le sue distillerie di grappa. Si ritorna risalendo i tornanti percorrendo una strada sterrata panoramica che si ricongiunge a Strada Bellaria. Si svolta a destra nella sterrata “Cascina Canali” fino ad arrivare al ponte sul torrente Piota. Si arriva alla S.P. 172 che si percorre svoltando a destra per circa 300 m per poi attraversare e prendere la strada asfaltata che porta a Tagliolo Monferrato, antico borgo medioevale che sorge intorno al castello, composto da strette viuzze, muri in pietra ed archivolti, con la casa del boia e la Chiesa di S. Maria Annunziata, antica parrocchiale.
Ancora visibile è l’edificio della Corte d’appello sede di tribunale durante il XVIII secolo
La chiesa più antica è S. Vito, situata all'interno del cimitero, che fu la prima parrocchia del paese. L'attuale parrocchia è San Nicolò, nella piazza prospiciente il Castello, con un campanile in pietra arenaria lavorato a sbalzo. Da Tagliolo si ritorna a Lerma percorrendo la S.P. 170 e da lì si rientra a Casaleggio.

Ring itinerary on the island of Donzella, the largest in the Delta. It starts from the rental point BikeSquare Delta del Po, headquarters and along the embankment that runs along the Po di Tolle you arrive in Scardovari, a fishing village home to a large fish market, followed by the tourist village of Barricate with its beaches with crystal clear waters and the Seashells Beach. The itinerary continues on the road that runs alongside the Sacca degli Scardovari, here the fishermen carry out their work based mainly on the breeding of mussels, of which the mussel is one of the products of excellence. The route runs along the entire perimeter of the pocket until it meets the mouth of the Po della Donzella, from here you go up the river to Cà Tiepolo where you return to the Po of Venice.

Starting from Novello
The e-bike route starts in Novello and descends along the beautiful Ravera road to Monforte d'Alba.
The Ravera is my favourite road, a long descent that shows the hills of the Langhe and allows you to see Monforte, Barolo and Novello in the foreground and many other castles and villages in the background.
You arrive in the centre of Monforte d'Alba
The centre of Monforte is always a pleasant surprise. On the square on the floor you will find many small bars where you can have an aperitif or an ice cream, but I recommend you climb up to the top of the old town to enjoy the view, see the amphitheatre (home of Monforte Jazz) and if you want to pop over to the giant bench.
Pass through the hamlet of San Sebastiano
From Monforte take the road towards Dogliani. Don't miss a stop at the Briacca, a nice winery that also organises picnics and tastings.
The highlight of the route, however, is the road along the coast that takes you to the hamlet of San Sebastiano (full of fantastic views, old farmsteads, small churches, in short the Langa as it once was) and on to Monchiero.
The old Bra Ceva railway
When you reach Monchiero close your eyes for 2 minutes (the view is horrible, you are in the midst of factories), but once you have crossed the railway bridge you can enter the old Bra-Ceva railway track, recently cleared of brambles and which allows you to avoid the ugly provincial road to reach the Bivio per Novello.

The ascent to Novello is demanding, but not busy.

Questo tour in ebike vi permette di scoprire, senza troppa fatica, la bellezza della Val Borbera.
Attraversando il territorio di Albera Ligure sarà possibile ammirare i vigneti coltivati a Timorasso recuperati in questi anni dal Collettivo Barban.
Pedalando e chiacchierando vi imbatterete nel Mulino di Santa Maria per arrivare poi in cima al Castello di Borgo Adorno. Da qui il paesaggio è mozzafiato.
Una volta arrivati a località Campana, si può scegliere se proseguire in direzione Cantalupo Ligure oppure prolungare di qualche chilometro per dirigersi verso la Val Curone,
Il tratto di strada tra i piccoli centri di Cavigino e Vigoponzo vi regala ancora una vista spettacolare sulla Val Borbera e la vicina Val Curone.
Il ritorno: Rochetta Ligure e la Val Sisola.
Da Cantalupo Ligure si ritorna verso Rochetta Ligure, costeggiando il Borbera.
A Rocchetta Ligure si può visitare il Palazzo Spinola che fu residenza estiva della famiglia Spinola di Genova. Nel palazzo potrete trovare anche un piccolo Museo della Resistenza e della vita contadina.
Dopo aver attraversato il paese di Rocchetta Ligure si costeggia il Sisola, sino all’omonima località, dove trovate anche qui i vigneti di Timorasso.
Da Sisola si ritorna a Cabella Ligure da una stradina minore con una pendenza piuttosto decisa e in piccola parte sterrata.
Arrivati nel paese di Cremonte ci si può godere la vista di Cabella Ligure dall’alto.

Starting from the ebike rental point of San Rocco Seno d'Elvio and going up through vineyards, you will reach the town of Madonna di Como, a panoramic plateau from which you can admire vineyards, hazelnut groves, woods and small villages in the background! Stop for a break or picnic in the little square dedicated to the industrious women of Langa, with the homonymous celebratory statue.
Then, leave to Mango and its impressing castle (home of the Enoteca Regionale del Moscato d'Asti). Before arriving in the village make a detour to the Ca' Moranda winery to enjoy a visit, including a wine tasting at this young winemaking facility.
After passing the village of Mango proceed in the direction of Coazzolo, where you can admire the Chapel of Moscato and continue by foot to the Vigna dei Pastelli (Vineyard of Crayons).
Discovering the big benches with ebike
Continue the descent and stop along the road that connects Coazzolo to Neive to admire one of the many giant benches () scattered throughout the territory and the musical amphitheater that can be reached by foot. After passing Coazzolo you can make a little detour to reach Cascina Saria where you can taste the wines of this area. To reach the Cascina you can turn right into Via Canova between km 25 and km 26 of the app.
While cycling, you can admire the village of Neive on your right, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Going down to Borgonuovo continue to Neviglie, from which you will go up through the vineyards with breathtaking views to reach the village of Treiso, one of the 4 municipalities producing renowned Barbaresco wine. On your last km of the tour, do not forget to stop to enjoy the view of the Rocche dei 7 fratelli (clay rock walls inside a large crater) of which many legends are told. Try to finish the route in time so as not to miss the visit with wine tasting at the Adriano Marco and Vittorio winery.

Splendida escursione che permette di andare alla scoperta del vallone che unisce il monte Tantané al Monte Zerbion. Partenza dal centro paese, uscendo da quest'ultimo prendere la prima strada sulla sinistra che sale verso i cimiteri, direzione Promiod. Prendere la strada sterrata in direzione Promiod, dopo circa 3 km si raggiunge l'alpeggio di Parafromiaz, superato quest'ultimo una piccola salita seguita da un impegnativa discesa permette di incrociare una strada sterrata. Un volta raggiunta quest'ultima svoltare a sinistra e continuare sullo sterrato per circa 2 km, la salita inizia qui. Proseguire in direzione Monte Zerbion fino al raggiungimento di un bivio dove dovete svoltare a sinistra per continuare la vostra salita. Una volta usciti da bosco tenete sempre la sinistra per salire e dopo alcuni tornanti proseguite in direzione Monte Zerbion. La strada sterrata continua sulla destra, dovete percorrerla tutta fino in cima, una bella faticata che vi permettera di raggiungere la cima del colle a 2430 m.s.l.m. Purtroppo non ci sono alternative e per tornare indietro dovete ripercorrere la stessa strada. Dove la sterrata ripiana e riinizia qualche pianta, sulla vostra destra, prendete l'unica strada che incontrate scendendo. Giungerete ad uno splendido alpeggio, Chancellier. Da qui la discesa si complica, oltrepassate l'alpeggio alla destra e scendete lungo il sentiero piuttosto tecnico, CONSIGLIAMO DI SPINGERE LA BICICLETTA SE NON SIETE PRATICI. Dopo circa 500 m troverete un segna via e dovete prendere il sentiero sulla destra che ripiana. Il sentiero è molto stretto e tutto in contropendenza, CONSIGLIAMO DI SPINGERE LA BICICLETTA. Dopo circa 1 km il sentiero si allarga e diventa una strada poderale, potete risalire in sella e scendere, ATTENZIONE molto ripido. Arrivati alla fine della discesa che dura circa 20 minuti , dovete risalire leggermente a destra e contiunare a scendere. La strada sterrata prosegue e vi porta ad un tornante. Prendete la destra e salite al lago dei Crous. Oltreppassate il lago e sulla destra prendete la rampa che sale. Un sentiero in contropendenza vi portera al col Pilaz. Giunti alla vasca di irrigazione girate a sinistra verso l'area con i tavoli e la fontana, proseguendo la strada riprende a salire, tenete la sinitra e salite fino al colle dove la strada inizia a scendere. Percorrete circa 2 km su strada sterrata in discesa fino a raggiungere il piazzale sterrato, da li la strada diventa asfaltata e dovete scendere ancora 2 km per raggiungere il centro abitato di La Magdeleine. Giunti al tornante tenete la destra e scendete fino alla chiesa. Ben tornati all'Hotel Tantané.

La partenza è il punto di noleggio BikeSquare di Voltaggio. Si segue Via Val Morsone. Dopo il guado si inizia una piacevole strada asfaltata, in gran parte in salita che segue il torrente Gorzente, una meta privilegiata per i bagni di fiume estivi. La strada si ricongiunge alla SP. N.165 presso la Località Eremiti, punto di partenza per le escursioni sulla vetta del Monte Tobbio. Si prosegue, sulla Provinciale costeggiando il Gorzente, in direzione Capanne di Marcarolo. Si è all'interno dell'area protetta del Parco Naturale delle Capanne di Marcarolo (Leggi a parte). Arrivati in sommità si possono trovare i punti di ristoro e gradevoli aree attrezzate dove prendere il sole e riposare avvolti dal penetrante profumo della vegetazione spontanea. Si rientra a Voltaggio seguendo la strada dell'andata.

Partendo dalla piazza di Summonte , vi immeterete direttamente sulla statale 374. Dopo 2 km comincerete la lunga salita che vi porterà al Santuario di Montevergine e lungo la strada resterete affascinati dal panorama che vi troverete ad ogni tornante.
Percorsi 11 km , vi troverete all'imponente Santuario. Qui potrete trascorrere un bel po di tempo a visitare le varie aree del santuario.
Prima di ripartire, riempite la borraccia alla fontana e via, si ritorna indietro sulla stessa strada e saranno 13 km di discesa.

The following text and the linked "hikes" routes are part of the Gallo Nero Bike Day event on last 20th September 2020. Together with the organising body we decided to let the routes be available all year round, hoping that more and more people decide to cycle on our roads. If you want to visit wineries, restaurants and businesses who joined the event, please call in advance because special menus and prices and opening times may vary without notification.
The two routes, the Granfondo (135 km, elevation difference 2621 m) and the Mediofondo (83 km, elevation difference 1526 m), offer breathtaking views of our countryside, the ultimate iconic Italian landscape. Starting in Radda in Chianti, where cyclists can admire the old city walls, and ending in Greve in Chianti, the birthplace of explorer and navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano, the route breezes by vineyards in the sunny Golden Basin of Panzano in Chianti, cuts through San Casciano and then dips down towards Castellina in Chianti, chosen by Michelangelo Buonarroti as his personal retreat. The long route meanders through the southernmost part of the territory, among lush vineyards and breathtaking hills, like the ones of San Regolo and Castagnoli. Both routes descend and rise several times, but don’t include highly technical incline climbs, allowing participants to enjoy the amazing landscape in its most glorious moment – the end of summer.
