How to visit Belveglio
Our tour starts from Ortondo’s B&B in Cortiglione.
After a short ride on the crest of the hills surrounding the town, you will arrive at “Bricco di Belveglio”, a place wherer it is possible to have a 360 degrees view of the surrounding landscape.
Belveglio is a town of 336 inhabitants in the province of Asti. In the Middle Ages the town was known with the name of Malamorte. It is likely that the toponym derives from the continuous struggles that raged in the territory, such as to consider them lands of bad death. The first lord of Malamorte was Raimondo Turco (1003 - 1092), coming from a noble family of Asti.
The Aleramic marquises of Incisa became masters of the locality after the descent of Federico Barbarossa in 1155, who defeated and set fire to the city of Asti, but after the peace of Costanza (1183) they were forced to return it to the Municipality of Asti. Following the civil wars in Asti between the Solaro and Guttuari Malamorte factions, many destructions followed one another, up to the passage of the city of Asti under the domination of Luchino Visconti.
In 1387, the village appears in Valentina Visconti's dowry for her marriage to Luigi di Valois and probably in this period the locality changed its name to Belvedere (Bellumviderium Astensium).
In 1806, Napoleon Bonaparte included the village in the Department of Marengo and in this period the name changed (the last one) from Belvedere to Belveglio.
The route winds through the streets of the center of the village until it leaves the main road to start a long secondary road immersed in the surrounding woods.
Rocchetta Tanaro and its Natural Park
The track will lead you to the borders of the Rocchetta Tanaro’s Natural Park.
Pay attention to the descent on the gravel road that will allow you to enter the park and enjoy, in summer, some shade and coolness.
Leaving the main dirt road you will find yourself near the town of Cerro Tanaro, from where a long cycle path will start on the banks of the Tanaro river.
At the end of the track, a small tunnel will take you past the railway to reach (this time on asphalt) the town of Rocchetta Tanaro.
In the open countryside, once on the banks of the Tanaro, stands the small church of Santa Maria de Flexio with a Romanesque apse.
In the Sant'Emiliano region stands the homonymous church, formerly a dependency of the Abbey of Azzano which extended its jurisdiction over farmhouses and lands in the Rocchetta area bordering "Roca".
In the concentric, the Salone Santa Caterina, once the Church of the Confraternity of the ss. Annunziata or dei "Battuti", it preserves a chiselled fresco under study by the Superintendency of Artistic Heritage, Romanesque columns and corbels.
The parish church built in 1700 on a pre-existing medieval chapel dedicated to Saint Stephen, has a Romanesque bell tower dated 1474. It preserves a marble stoup with the engraved "Comunitas Rocheta 1476", a painting attributed to the Caccia school, a painting by Michelangelo Pittatore, an ivory crucifix by 1700 of Provençal school.
Also worth seeing is the Rocchetta Tanaro Natural Park, where the presence of “Il Frutteto della Memoria” and the "large beech" (called "Faggio Emilio") of the Val du Gè (Valle del Gelo), an ultra-centuries-old specimen over 25 meters and with a diameter of the crown of around 20 meters that grows to the minimum altitude for Piedmont (130 meters above sea level), and represents a reminder of the beech woods spread throughout the area at the end of the last glacial period, and the Integral Nature Reserve " Il Verneto ", WWF oasis.
In Rocchetta there are also two museums: the “Tanaro and Contadinerie Museum”, with the reconstruction of some typically Rocchettese peasant life environments, and the Museum of wine labels, an ideal journey through the Italian regions which, through its graphics, invites visitors to discover the best national wines;
Also worthy of note is the Castle of the Marquises Incisa della Rocchetta, where for centuries the wines of the Marquises Incisa della Rocchetta were produced in the cellars, transferred since 1994 to "La Corte Chiusa" (an ancient family property).
A cylindrical tower and parts of the building remain of the ancient medieval castle. The castle is now privately owned (not open to visitors).
Continuing along the track, you will arrive to take the road towards the Mogliotti’s Road to rejoin the track of the starting point again.

L’itinerario ci porterà nella splendida riserva naturale del Bosco delle Pianelle, un’area boschiva caratterizzata da una ricca vegetazione e dalla presenza di fauna avicola. Il bosco che si estende per circa 600 ettari si raggiunge dopo una pedalata panoramica nelle campagne della murgia; giunti nella riserva si percorreranno diversi sentieri alcuni dei quali davvero spettacolari. L’escursione prevede la sosta in masseria situata all’interno dell’area boschiva con degustazione di prodotti tipici. Si conclude con il rientro a Martina Franca.

The bicycle route between Balze and Calanchi passes through places where nature and history intertwine in a circular path accessible to everyone thanks to e-bikes. This itinerary takes us to discover a unique scenario, characterized by spectacular geological formations, medieval monasteries suspended between heaven and earth, and gastronomic delicacies that tell the essence of this territory.
The e-bike itinerary develops in a loop, making the experience accessible even to those who are less trained. The route winds through a succession of breathtaking panoramas, alternating white roads with more adventurous paths, always accompanied by the majesty of the Balze and calanchi that dominate the horizon.
The Balze: Witnesses of an Ancient Geological History
Along the bike path, you observe the Balze which reveal themselves in all their grandeur. These steep slopes with their characteristic golden color represent a natural spectacle of rare beauty and a geological phenomenon of considerable scientific interest. Composed of sand and calcareous sandstone rocks, the Balze are the result of a grand erosive process still in progress, which continues to shape the sediments left by an ancient sea dating back 2.5 million years.
The particular conformation of these geological formations creates plays of light and shadow that reach their peak during the twilight hours, when the setting sun's rays enhance their golden tones, offering a visual spectacle of extraordinary beauty. Pedaling along the route, you will find yourself immersed in an almost lunar landscape, where time seems to have stopped, allowing you to virtually travel back millions of years.
The Calanchi: Natural Sculptures with Wild Charm
In stark contrast to the golden Balze, the calanchi represent another fascinating chapter of this cycling adventure. Characterized by steep southern slopes with pointed crests that shine white under the sun, the calanchi offer a scenario of wild beauty. These clay formations, shaped by the erosion of rainwater, create a surreal landscape that extends as far as the eye can see toward the sea.

The bike path reaches, via a white road, a privileged observation point near the small church of San Cipriano. From this strategic position, you can admire in all its extension the characteristic calanchi landscape of Volterra, distinguished by formations of considerable size, both in length and height.
This natural belvedere offers the opportunity to take memorable photographs and enjoy a moment of contemplation in front of a scenario that seems to have come out of a painting. The small church, with its architectural simplicity, integrates perfectly into the surrounding landscape, adding a further element of cultural interest to the experience.
The Pecorino delle Balze Volterrane DOP: A Gastronomic Treasure
The e-bike tour crosses a hilly territory rich not only in natural and historical beauties, but also in gastronomic excellences. In these hills, the prestigious Pecorino delle Balze Volterrane DOP is produced, a typical cheese that encapsulates the essence of this unique land.
The peculiarity of this cheese lies in the use of vegetable rennet extracted from the wild thistle, a plant that grows spontaneously in local pastures. This production technique, handed down from generation to generation, gives the pecorino a distinctive and unmistakable flavor, which tells the story and traditions of these hills. A ride on your ebike will take you to discover the lands north-west of Cremona up to the Oglio river.
From the Cremona camping you cross the city center with its beautiful Duomo square and using the via Persico cycle path you enter the countryside towards Vescovato on secondary roads and separate cycle paths. The only attention is the overpass after Persichello where you continue on the road.
You will meet a beautiful square in Pescarolo, and a Linen Museum to be contacted for opening only on request. In Gabbioneta a Special Protection Area awaits you consisting of an old oxbow lake, habitat for birds and finally on the banks of the Oglio.
What to see in Ostiano
As soon as you pass the entrance bridge to Ostiano, a nice dirt track path will take you to the parish curch of Torricella, to the Castle of Ostiano Castle of Ostiano and to the Barca Bridge exit with its ancient history although now in steel.
The next stops will be the Pieve di Cornella, the town of Seniga and the Castle of Scandolara Ripa d'Oglio surrounded by a water moat.
Take the road back to Villa Manna Roncadelli and then return to the city with the Brescia Cremona regional cycle path

THE ITINERARY OF THE POPES AND THE OLD ROME FIUGGI RAILWAY
We are on one of the most demanding stages of the entire GTL, 80 km for about 1200 m of elevation gain. However, the route offers the possibility of being further fragmented, since several railway stations are located along the route and you can therefore use the bike transport service by train to shorten the journey.On the other hand, this stage offers a huge historical and cultural heritage, as well as sections of the existing cycle path, the route of the former Rome-Fiuggi railway. Starting from Frosinone, we continue to follow the route of the Eurovelo 5 Romea/Francigena, and we reach the village of Ferentino; from here begins the first of the climbs that characterize the course of the GTL7: the first objective is the village of Fumone, which overlooks the Ernici Mountains, on the top of which stands the imposing Castle owned by the Caetani family, the same as Boniface VIII: here Celestine V was imprisoned and spent his last days, the one who out of cowardice made the great refusal according to Dante; A gloomy and sinister place, it has originated various legends of ghosts over the centuries.From here we continue to the quiet Lake Canterno, until we go up towards Fiuggi, a well-known spa, where we can follow the route of the old railway that until a few decades ago led to Rome: today it is a marked cycle path that passes one after the other the stations of the past, sheltered from the traffic of the Via Prenestina.With a detour it is worth reaching Anagni, another delightful papal village rich in architecture and art.Acuto, Piglio, Serrano, and the route reserved for bicycles is interrupted: avoiding the Prenestina, we continue on Eurovelo 5 which leads us to other wonderful medieval towns such as Gimignano, Genazzano and Cave, ancient papal fiefdoms and a pilgrimage destination for writers such as Gregorovius, and above all Palestrina, whose Temple of Fortuna Primigenia stands out as one of the major pagan sanctuaries of Roman times. From this area there are also many beautiful roads towards the Prenestini Mountains, to deviate from the course of the GTL and challenge the climbs a bit.We hen end the route in Zagarolo, where there is another railway junction for Rome

L'itinerario può essere svolto da Alberese fino alla loc. di Collelungo (percorrendo la Strada degli Ulivi da Vergheria fino a Collelungo), oppure percorrendo la ciclabile fino a Marina di Alberese e successivamente, attraverso la strada della Pinastrellaia, si raggiunge la spiaggia di Collelungo.
Prima di raggiungere la spiaggia è presente una zona di sosta con rastrelliere dove è possibile lasciare le biciclette.
Nel percorre gli itinerari in bici si raccomanda la cautela, in quanto si sta visitando un'area protetta ed è presente la possibilità di incontrare fruitori di altre modalità di visita (a cavallo, a piedi).

The MTB Trail
The e-bike cycling route through the Barbaresco Langhe winds through the hills and woods of Beppe Fenoglio's Langa. Here, Barbaresco wine dominates and the villages along the route are Treiso and Trezzo Tinella. The trail is perfect for e-bike MTBs, combining paved and unpaved roads. It's not particularly technical and suitable for anyone wanting to enjoy riding e-bike MTBs. Be cautious if there has been recent rain, as mud will be prevalent.
Alba San Rocco Seno D'Elvio
This loop tour, doable in half a day by e-bike MTB, starts from the e-bike rental point in Alba Fraz.San Rocco Seno D'Elvio. By reservation, visitors can enjoy a wine tasting at Marco and Vittorio Adriano Winery adjacent to the bike rental shop. The route heads toward Treiso on secondary roads climbing through Barbaresco vineyards. While the initial climb requires good physical effort, e-bikes significantly reduce this effort, making elevation changes easy and fun. The first kilometers cross through San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, showcasing the first expanses of Nebbiolo for Barbaresco.
Treiso
After about 7 km of climbing, you reach Treiso, revealing breathtaking views of the Tanaro valley and surrounding hills. The village, known for its historic wineries, deserves a stop to visit the Santa Maria del Piano parish church and the belvedere overlooking the vineyards below. A highly recommended stop is the Trattoria Risorgimento in Treiso, where you can collect (by reservation) a gourmet local products picnic basket.
Donna di Langa and its panorama
From Treiso, continue by e-bike to Trezzo Tinella through landscapes alternating between vineyards and hazelnut groves. The road winds through hills, offering scenic views of Valle Tinella and distant Alps. Trezzo Tinella marks the route's highest point. The small village preserves authentic Langhe charm with stone houses and narrow alleys. From here, enjoy views spanning from Barbaresco hills to Alpine peaks on clear days. The Donna di Langa panoramic point and picnic area is excellent for enjoying your picnic with postcard-worthy valley views.
Leaving the Donna di Langa viewpoint, the route crosses various rural hamlets where ancient farmhouses and terraced vineyards dominate. Vegetation varies with altitude, transitioning from Nebbiolo vineyards to wooded areas, creating a beautiful landscape mosaic.
The bike descent to Alba offers technical sections requiring caution, especially after rain. The route follows secondary roads through greenery, with views of the region's famous vineyards. During descent, you pass through small villages like Tre Stelle, where you can stop at farmhouses and wineries.

E-bike tour to the Caves of Pastena
Starting with e-bikes from the rental point in Falvaterra, you ride a stretch of road immersed in the silence of nature, crossing rivers, cultivated land and wild woods. After crossing the wood you enter the SP151 which leads to the Caves of Pastena, where you can leave your bikes and visit one of the largest speleological complexes in Italy: majestic and suggestive rooms (of the Blue Lake, of the Bats, of the Weeping Willow), stalactites , stalagmites and columns with bizarre shapes that make the visit to the caves an exciting experience.
What to see in Falvaterra
After visiting the Caves of Pastena, you head back to Falvaterra, followin dirt paths and panoramic roads: in the last stretch make the most of the power of the ebike that will allow you to climb from the valley to the village. E-bikes are a great help for easily climbing uphill roads. Once you arrive in the Falvaterra village you can explore the suggestive squares and alleys of the historic center (on foot or on your e-bike) pervaded by history, culture and local traditions and which offer various panoramic views of the Latin Valley; we suggest you to stop at La Bottega Coquinaria da Luca and Serena to taste typical products in the so-called Torrione (a small square that thanks to its panoramic position becomes a fantastic viewpoint terrace).
E-bike tour to the Caves of Falvaterra
After the stop on the bike, you will cover the last 4 km until returning to the rental point at the Caves of Falvaterra where you can visit the underground complex that connects to that of the Caves of Pastena: this complex is characterized by active areas rich in water with waterfalls, rapids , gorges and lakes and you will have the opportunity to discover it both with a classic tourist visit (thanks to an internal walkway) and with a speleological visit by walking and swimming directly inside the crystalline stream and crossing lakes and waterfalls. Exploring these natural wonders is always a unique and breathtaking experience. The starting point with e-bikes for this loop tour is Corneliano D'Alba, one of the heart villages of Roero. For those who wish, it's possible to have an excellent breakfast or snack before departure, which will provide the right energy for the ride. The tour begins with a visit to the town - Corneliano D'Alba preserves in its historic center a medieval decagonal tower from the 13th century, 22 meters tall, testimony to the medieval past of the city and what remains of the ancient castle. For lovers of Baroque architecture, a stop at the Church of SS Gallo and Nicolò is recommended, a Baroque building with an imposing facade that preserves valuable frescoes and decorations inside; the main altar in polychrome marble is particularly valuable. Corneliano D'Alba, located in the heart of Roero, is renowned for wine production, especially Roero Arneis DOCG and Roero DOCG. During summer, the village comes alive for the peach harvest; this fruit in Corneliano d'Alba is particularly prized and juicy. After visiting the town, we depart by bike toward Vezza D'Alba.
Vezza D'Alba
Leaving the town of Corneliano D'Alba, guided by the self-guided route, the ride continues on paved secondary roads that run through vineyards, with gentle ups and downs typical of the Roero territory. During this first part of the journey, you can admire splendid views of the surrounding hills, dotted with farmhouses and small villages. On the e-bike, we reach Vezza d'Alba, whose name origin is quite curious - according to many scholars, the name (once "Vicia") derives from a particular herbaceous plant (vicia sativa) that was once cultivated in the area as fodder for animals. Today, fodder cultivation is practically non-existent, replaced by vineyard cultivation, with Arneis and Nebbiolo vines finding excellent flavor expression in this sandy soil. Not only vines, but also peaches and Madernassa pears are typical products of this area. For geology and natural history lovers, a visit to the Roero Natural History Museum is highly recommended. It is the most important museum of its kind in the area; today the museum houses two different rooms, one geological and the other naturalistic.
Priocca
Leaving Vezza D'Alba behind, the bike takes us toward Priocca passing through Castellinaldo D'Alba. The landscape in this stretch is characterized by alternating woods and vineyards; we are in the wild part of Roero. Looking up at the horizon, steep Rocche (rock formations) stand out - sand walls, sometimes covered with spontaneous vegetation, sometimes "bare." In this stretch, they show all their grandeur. With e-bikes, the steeper climbs are not a problem; the assisted pedaling allows you to climb without too much effort. Once at the top, the panorama over the Tanaro valley and the Langhe gives the right satisfaction to continue toward Priocca. We are about halfway through the route. During the warm season, Priocca is an excellent stopping point for a picnic; upon reservation, it's possible to pick it up directly at the start of the e-bike tour. After lunch at a trattoria or picnic in the shade of a majestic tree, a visit to the town of Priocca is recommended. On foot or by bike, a visit to the Parish Church of St. Stephen is recommended - once a castle chapel, it preserves an imposing bell tower 40 meters tall and completed in 1923. Not just art and culture, but also food and wine; a stop at the numerous local wineries is recommended to experience a true wine tasting of Roero wines.
Return, Magliano Alfieri
The ride on the return road toward Corneliano d'Alba continues on secondary roads with low traffic. This e-bike route crosses more wooded areas and some rural hamlets, offering a different perspective of the territory. Along the bike path, you reach the village of Magliano Alfieri; the woods give way to vineyards and hazelnut groves that characterize the landscape of this stretch. Upon arrival in the village, attention is captured by the imposing Magliano Alfieri castle, which houses the Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions and the curious Museum of Plaster Ceilings. With e-bikes, the climb to the castle won't be too demanding, and the view from the castle's belvedere over the Langhe will be wonderful. Leaving Magliano Alfieri behind, the route comes to an end with the return to the starting point in Corneliano d'Alba.

This panoramic and engaging route will take you to discover some of the most hidden wonders of the Ciociaria area.
The first stop you will encounter along the way includes the Natural Monument of the Caves of Falvaterra and Rio Obaco, an oasis surrounded by nature where you can visit the speleological complex or simply cool off in the waters of the small river that flows from inside.
After the first stop you will leave for Falvaterra, a small medieval village where time seems to have stopped: here you can leave your e-bike and stroll through the alleys and squares of the historic center, photograph the panoramic views of the Latin Valley and taste local products from Luca and Serena in their Bottega Coquinaria.
It's time to get back on the saddle: once you have passed the village you will take a flat and panoramic road that surrounds the whole mountain on your left until you descend directly into the heart of the second village crossed by this itinerary, San Giovanni Incarico. With your e-bike you will be able to comfortably explore both the lower part and its most perched historic center.
As soon as you pass the village you will find yourself in front of a crossroads: here, based on the degree of confidence taken with the e-bike and your physical condition, you can choose whether to make a small detour from the path traced on top of the mountain on your left, where the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia stands out, offering an exceptional panoramic view over the Ciociaria area. In case you decide to reach it, just retrace the road in reverse to return to the route, otherwise you can directly continue the mapped itinerary.
From the village and above all from the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia, you will have happened to throw your eye on the waterways that intertwine with each other: they are the Liri River and the Sacco River that meet and flow into the characteristic Lake of San Giovanni for its shape reminiscent of an octopus. The route continues along the entire lake until it joins the Via Francigena, in a stretch of road that is partly unpaved but easily accessible through the woods, along the crescent-shaped Lake of San Giacomo (it is no coincidence that you are in Via Guardaluna) and reaches the center of Ceprano.
Here you will cross its historic alley where the signs of ancient shops are still present, you will cross the square and reach the market area: if you are lucky enough to undertake this path on market day (Saturday morning) we advise you to stop by our friend Giò where you can taste its fantastic products at km0 (it is the first stand you will meet as soon as you pass the square).
Finally, you will travel the last 2 kilometers until you return to the rental point in Ceprano, where you will have showers and shaded areas to cool off and rest.

A new way to see the city of Turin ... often painted like a gray and industrial city, it will surprise you by showing its green and naturalistic side! You can observe the local flora and fauna by encountering squirrels and birds that chirp.
Path suitable for everyone and families with children.
From Movegreen, where you can rent e-bikes, the route runs along the cycle path that runs along the bank of the river Po. Along the way, there will be urban asphalt sections and dirt tracks, but it remains an easy and suitable route all.
From the shop you will proceed to the tree-lined avenue of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, then turn right into the Parco del Valentino where you can admire the Valentino castle and the medieval village.
After this first km the route will wind along the banks of the river Po: after the park, you will cross the Isabella bridge and you will go on the opposite bank of the river, where we will find the bike path on the left side of the road.
Along the way, you can see the Cappuccini mountain and the churches of the Gran Madre di Dio and the Madonna del Pilone. Upon reaching the bridge of the Sassi fraction of Turin, the return journey along the Po Antonelli will begin.
A possible detour into the city center of about 3 km to observe the main squares, historic sites, and shopping streets.

Questo tour porta alla scoperta delle colline del Roero, Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Unesco insieme agli altri paesaggi vitivinicoli del Piemonte, e delle sue residenze reali (anch'esse Patrimonio dell'Umanità).
Paesaggi bellissimi dove approfondire la conoscenza dei tanti prodotti eccellenti del territorio, tra cantine, produttori di vino e specialità artigianali.
Il punto di partenza (e di arrivo) è l'Enoteca Regionale del Roero, cuore pulsante dell'enogastronomia locale e punto di riferimento per conoscere i migliori prodotti del territorio.
Da qui si pedala in direzione Govone, dove è possibile ammirare il Castello Reale, collocato sulla cima di una collinetta e storica sede, durante l'inverno, di una delle più belle manifestazioni natalizie d'Italia, il Magico Paese di Natale.
Si procede poi verso Priocca, dove gli appassionati non potranno perdersi una visita al Museo Mondodelvino, con l'esperienza interattiva della “Wine Experience” che racconta il mondo dell'enologia. A Priocca, inoltre, ha sede anche uno storico ristorante stellato della zona: è Il Centro, patria indiscussa del celebre fritto misto alla piemontese.
La tappa successiva è Magliano Alfieri, il cui castello è sede del Museo delle Arti e Tradizioni Popolari e della Cultura del Gesso.
Da lì si procede in direzione Castagnito Alto, con la possibilità di fermarsi ad ammirare il panorama da un bellissimo Belvedere. In questo tratto si passa attraverso la “Strada del Barbera”, che celebra il vino anche attraverso il progetto “Arte e Paesaggio”, che vede la posa di alcuni steli d'autore, ideati sulla base di disegni dello scultore Riccardo Cordero per rappresentare in maniera astratta l’impegno del lavoro nel vigneto e in cantina.
Il tour procede erso Guarene, con un altro bellissimo castello riportato agli antichi splendori e sede di un hotel di lusso (su prenotazione si possono richiedere visite guidate).
Il passaggio da Vezza d'Alba merita poi una piccola deviazione sul suo belvedere, là dove si trova il Santuario della Madonna dei Boschi, luogo di grande spiritualità collocato in cima alle valli sottostanti, come a volerle proteggere. A Vezza d'Alba si trova anche un antico Torrione, il “Torion” come si dice da queste parti, che è stato acquistato tempo fa dalla famiglia dei viticoltori locali Ceretto, con l'idea di farne un progetto artistico e turistico in grado di replicare la Cappella del Barolo di La Morra.
Il percorso si conclude a Canale, tornando presso l'Enoteca Regionale del Roero dove – su prenotazione – si può concordare un aperitivo con vini e prodotti tipici. Al piano superiore dell'Enoteca Regionale del Roero, infine, si trova anche il ristorante una stella Michelin di Davide Palluda, uno dei più celebri interpreti dei sapori di queste terre.

L'itinerario ha inizio dalla stazione "Verbania-Pallanza" di Fondotoce e offre un ricco susseguirsi di mutevoli paesaggi che nel periodo primaverile esplodono di colori.

Il Parco della Memoria e della Pace con l'imponente Monumento in memoria dei quarantatré partigiani fucilati nel ’44, e la Casa della Resistenza.
Il percorso attraversa la Riserva Naturale del Canneto con il suo osservatorio.
Mergozzo e la sua frazione Candoglia dalla cui cava si estrae ancora oggi l’omonimo marmo per la Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano.
Ornavasso. L’itinerario passa in corrispondenza della Falesia del Cannone e raggiunge la Punta di Migiandone dove ha inizio la strada militare che ospita le trincee della Linea Cadorna con il suo Forte di Bara (che volendo è possibile raggiungere in mtb).
Premosello – Chiovenda. L'Oasi Naturale di Bosco Tenso è stata istituita nel 1990 per la salvaguardia dell’ultima porzione di bosco “tensato”, già tutelata nel 1500 in quanto il bosco posto tra il Toce e le coltivazioni salvava queste ultime dalle esondazioni.
Vogogna, annoverato tra i Borghi più belli d'Italia, è stato Capitale dell'Ossola Inferiore e nel suo centro storico si trovano il Castello Visconteo ed il Palazzo Pretorio.
Pieve Vergonte con il Ponte sul fiume Anza che conduce a Piedimulera, dove svetta il torrione di Palazzo Testoni, realizzato probabilmente per avere controllo sulla mulattiera che conduceva in Valle Anzasca.
Villadossola. Fu un importante sito siderurgico per i metalli estratti in Valle Antrona, tanto da portare alla realizzazione, nel 1940, di un intero villaggio per le maestranze della S.A. Metallurgica Ossolana, che resta tutt’oggi un’opera unica nel suo genere.
Domodossola, principale centro della Val D’Ossola, sorge nella piana all’imbocco della Val Bognanco. È stata un importante crocevia di culture e scambi commerciali ed il suo centro storico, anticamente racchiuso tra mura pentagonali, è ricco di monumenti e palazzi storici. Per il rientro si suggerisce di prendere il treno alla stazione di Domodossola per raggiungere la stazione di Verbania – Pallanza.
