Know before you go
Sports clothing is not essential although it is advisable to wear comfortable loose fitting clothes that allow ease of movement and we advise against wearing high heels or platforms, sandals or flip flops.
Intermediate skill level of mountain biking. If you have ridden mountain bikes in the countryside, then these routes can be done with ease.
a Granada
E-bike Tour which starts from the slopes of the Castelli Romani, from our e-bike rental point in Grottaferrata, and which arrives in the very well known Appia Antica park. Coming down from Grottaferrata, through Marciana valley, in order to reach Roma, you will go through vineyards and you will witness so many fantastic panoramas. Arriving in Santa Maria delle Mole you will begin to travel along the Appia Antica. . You will have a joyful walk admiring the Berretta del Prete, the Casal Rotondo's mausoleum; on the right side of the route you can see the luxurious Villa dei Quintili and the church of Santa Maria Nova. Proceeding you will arrive to Capo di Bove and its museum. Later you will reach the Cecilia Metella's mausoleum, the Massenzio's circus and the Romolo's tomb. From this point on the open-air museum of the archeological park of the Appia Antica turns into un uncontaminated itinerary inside the nature. Approaching the Quo Vadis church you will turn right in order to reach the Caffarella park, looking at the valley you will see the Annia Reggilla's tomb and the church Santo Urbano. Passing the Caffarella park you will arrive to Parco degli Acquedotti and to Casale Vecchia Roma, finally you will come back to Castelli Romani.
The Oropa Trail can be traveled on foot, by bicycle, or by e-bike. It can be divided into stages or, in the case of e-bikes, it can also be completed (if you are fit) in one day. Traveling along the Oropa Cycle Path means immersing yourself in history and the landscape, slowly crossing through places and listening to the people who live there.
From Santhià by e-bike
The journey begins with the bike from Santhià in the province of Vercelli. The city is easily accessible by train or car, making it a convenient starting point for those wishing to embark on the route by bike or on foot. The first kilometers traveled by bike are mostly flat, and the e-bike route passes through green fields and rural landscapes. This stretch is ideal for warming up before tackling the more challenging sections of the route. Along the way, while cycling, you can admire typical Piedmontese farmhouses and the rows of trees lining the roads, as well as the characteristic rice paddies of Vercelli.
The Serra
Continuing to pedal, you enter the area of the Serra Morenica, a hilly region that offers stunning views. The Serra, being a hilly area, characterizes the e-bike route with gentle climbs, allowing cyclists to enjoy panoramic views of the underlying plain and the distant Alps. The Serra is a place rich in biodiversity and offers numerous rest points where you can observe local wildlife and appreciate the characteristic flora of the region. Along the route, there are various picnic areas where you can stop for a refreshing break and enjoy the surrounding nature; if you're lucky, the chirping of birds and sounds of the forest will accompany this moment of rest. After crossing the hills of the Serra, the bike route continues towards the Sanctuary of Oropa, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Italy. Unique ad unrepeatable tour along the the regina viarum, the ancient appia. It starts from Cestius Pyramid near Porta San Paolo, you can reach the Circus Maximus pedaling comfortably along the cycle path of viale Aventino.
From there you will skirt the Baths of Caracalla reaching Porta San Sebastiano. What to taste in the Food Valley

We are talking about the south bank of the Po, in the provinces of Piacenza and Parma, at the beginning of that food valley that leads from Cremona to Parma. Dalla frazione di Brengon (dove noleggiate le bici) seguire la strada asfaltata sino ad incontrare il bivio per Chamois: trascurarlo e proseguire lungo la stradina fino a raggiungere un parcheggio che si trova dopo un ampio tornante a sinistra. Risalire la strada che porta al Col Pilaz nell’abetaia che ogni tanto regala interessanti scorci sul Monte Zerbion e sul Mont Tantané. Superato un tratto di strada leggermente più ripido il tracciato prosegue in un tratto quasi rettilineo, siamo sullo spartiacque con il comune di Chamois ed ogni tanto, tra i rami degli abeti, si intravede l’inconfondibile sagoma del di sua Maestà il CERVINO.
Proseguire sulla poderale che propone una breve discesa sino ad incontrare un bivio: si trascura la strada che prosegue diritta davanti a noi e si svolta a destra continuando la discesa sino al Col Pilaz (1975m).
Riprendere la strada a ritroso e al bivio (che abbiamo incontrato prima) seguire a destra le indicazioni per Chamois. La discesa è bella e pedalabile e si ricongiunge con la pista poderale che porta al caratteristico paese di Chamois (circa un venti minuti).
Il rientro si sviluppa tutto sulla famosa passeggiata La Magdeleine - Chamois e non presenta particolari difficoltà.

Let's take a trip to Montjuic, the hill hosting the 1992 Olympic Games, by electric bike. From the bottom of the hill a cable car will take us the 200 meters to the top of the hill where you can enjoy stunning views of the city.
We will stretch our legs as walk the castle and experience a 360° panoramic view of this magical city.
Then we will ride our e-bikes down to Port Vell, and climb aboard an ecofriendly catamaran to sail along the coast. We will see a completelly different perspective of the city and with the feel of the Meditertanean breeze we will enjoy a refreshing glass of Cava (included).
Once disembarked we will continue with our e-bikes through the Ciutadella Park and the magnificent Arc de Triomf.
NB: Our tours are conducted on comfortable electric bikes, suitable until 12 year old kids (or 1.45cm).
For smaller kids we have different options (trailers, child seats) so they can also enjoy the ride.

Si alternano paesaggi calanchivi, pinete ombreggiate come macchia mediterranea serviti da una strada sterrata brecciata. Giro di boa la onnipresente Tempa Petrolla. Sperone di marna silicea che si eleva con i suoi oltre trenta metri dal manto argilloso tanto da essere scelta come punto di vedetta sia dagli spagnoli di un tempo che per ultimo dal brigante Crocco. A conferma di questo sul suo apice si erge una costruzione in pietra raggiungibile da una scalinata scolpita nella roccia. Presenti nelle vicinanze alcuni punti d'acqua come quello di Malabocca ma munirsi di zaino idrico o doppia borraccia nei periodi caldi.

Our tour, suitable for everyone, starts in Spello and following the Subasio road takes us to the castle of Collepino. Collepino, once known as Colle-Lupino or Collepieno, is a charming medieval castle situated on the eastern slopes of Mount Subasio, at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. From its promontory, always kissed by the sun, one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Chiona torrent, the city of Foligno and the Spoletana Valley. St. Francis, in a moment of admiration, said of the Spoletana Valley: ‘Nihil iucundius vidi valle mea spoletana’ - ‘I have seen nothing more beautiful than my Spoletana Valley’.
Continuing along the road that skirts Subasio and passes the enchanting castle of San Giovanni di Collepino, one arrives at Armenzano, the castle perched on a hill that offers a spectacular view of the Nocerine hills and mountains and the green valley of the Anna torrent. Every year in June, the surrounding landscape is covered in the brilliant yellow-gold mantle of flowering broom.
Following the same road, we then reach the tiny and pretty hamlet of Costa di Trex, which from the slopes of Subasio overlooks the Tescio valley and the Marchetto ditch.
The tour then continues in the direction of Assisi, where a stop is obligatory due to the countless beauties and sightseeing opportunities that this place, one of the most popular and well-known in the entire Umbria region, offers visitors.
From Assisi we then take the route back to Spello via the magnificent Via degli Ulivi, passing enchanting views and small jewels of local history and culture such as the Maestà del Mascione (or Mascicone). This scenic route halfway between Assisi and Spello, known for its numerous olive groves, offers an evocative journey immersed in nature.

ATTENTION PLOT FOR EXPERT BIKERS !!! starts from the fraction Brengon in front of all 'Hotel Tantané and goes up in the direction Veuillen towards the famous walk La Magdeleine / Chamois. After about 2 km of asphalt the road becomes dirt and goes perracing in the lakes direction of Champlong for about 3 km up to 2400 m. (a pretty steep white street). Once it has arrived to the ponds, continue on the same road until the downhill and start the descent towards l ', which is a steep descent of steep descent but on a white road. Once you have arrived at all 'alworst Foresus take the first road to the right and rise to the chamois municipality's rise facilities, passing through to a gracious alworst, Glavin. In the square where you find yourself go to the left to the town hall and follow the directions for La Magdeleine. After 4 km you have arrived again on the 'tarmac. Take it to the right and go down to the country.

The magical flight of pink flamingos dominates the Salento coastline in the land of Primitivo and Negroamaro.
You cycle through vineyards and wild Mediterranean scrubland before reaching the coast, where the karstic land shows its "spunnulate", karstic resurgences that create small lakes of crystal-clear freshwater.
In the Reserve of the Eastern Taranto Coastline, nature takes over with the Salina dei Monaci and its extraordinary guests, along with the cold and brilliant water of the Chidro river mouth.
The route starts and ends in Manduria. Cycling along the loop, you will pass through the municipalities of Avetrana, Villaggio Boncore, Torre Lapillo, Torre Castiglione, Padula Fede, Punta Prosciutto, Torre Colimena, Specchiarica, San Pietro in Bevagna.
You mainly cycle on asphalt roads, about 75%, but also on dirt roads.
Traffic is light along almost the entire route. In the months of July and August, the stretch on the coastal road is instead characterized by heavy traffic.
The wine 'Negramaro'
Negramaro wine is an oenological excellence typical of Puglia, particularly in the provinces of Lecce, Brindisi, and Taranto.
This native grape variety, whose name derives from the words "black" and "bitter", produces full-bodied and intense red wines that encapsulate all the warmth and passion of Southern Italy.

It starts from Trescore Cremasco where you can rent electric bikes from the Fratelli Bossi rental point.
The route takes you towards Casaletto Vaprio to continue north and allows you to see, before reaching Capralba, the area of the Quarantine fountain (fontanile di Quarantina).
Continuing to ride on the roads that cross the countryside you will reach Sergnano and then Ricengo. From here you can take a short detour to reach the Lake of Reflections, another unforgettable location of the film of Guadagnino.

Continue south to get to Crema. The gardens of Crema, the historic center, Piazza Duomo: all places where the director's eye has stopped. Pedaling you can arrive in Piazza San Giovanni XXIII to get out of the town along via Macallè. You are about to reach Moscazzano and in particular, the Villa Albergoni where the scenes were shot in the summer house of the protagonist of 'Call me with your name'. While you are here, you can not go any further to admire the Madonna dei Prati Sanctuary.
You are ready to go back along the same road and then turn left towards San Carlo.
Here you continue on the cycle path of the Gronda Nord up to the industrial area of Cremosano and to the santella along the Vaccheli canal you can turn left to continue until Nosadello. After cycling on the long and beautiful track on the dirt road, turn right towards Pandino. In Pandino, in the center of the village, it will be possible to visit the Castle. It dates back to the fourteenth century and was a hunting lodge of the Bernabò family. If you can not visit it, do not miss a souvenir photo in front of the Vittorio Emanuele III monument.
The return road continues among old farmhouses and country villages: pedaling in peace it will be easy to imagine the life of these places even just 50 years ago. You will meet the Cascine Gandini (Casine Gandine in the dialect of Cremasco): it is a fraction of the municipality of Palazzo Pignano. Cascine Gandini is a small agricultural village of ancient origin, belonging to the Cremasco territory and is 1.54 kilometers from the capital city.
Passing from Torlino Vimenrcati you will go along the last stretch of white road immersed in the Cremasca plains passing next to a Cascina and to a Dairy very known in the Territory (Erdi Carioni) with attached products store.
Finally you reach Santo Stefano to return to Trescore Cremasco.

SORATTE AND SURROUNDINGS
A challenging and fascinating stage, the first in the land of the Etruscans: from here to the end of the GTL, for its entire northern arc, we will cross necropolises, tuff walls and roads cut into the stone and woods, the legacy of a people still partly mysterious and then merged into Roman civilization. From Stimigliano we cross two large "barriers", the Tiber first and then the Autostrada del Sole, to find ourselves in front of the only great giant that stands alone in the Agro Romano: Monte Soratte. With its unmistakable profiles, it is a limestone massif from which numerous hiking and mountain bike trails start, and has always stimulated the imagination of poets, writers and travelers, first of all Horace. To move around these hilly and often winding territories, the GTL 12 uses two European cycle paths, the Eurovelo 5 Romea Francigena and the Eurovelo 7 We continue along winding roads to Sant'Oreste, then Faleria, an ancient settlement of an ancient Lazio population, the Falisci, until we reach one of the pearls of Upper Lazio: Calcata, perched on a block of tuff in the middle of the Treja valley, is a village that seems to isolate itself from the rest of the world, once a refuge for hippie municipalities, today for craft shops. We continue descending into the woods of the Treja river valley, where there are also many paths and bridleways for fascinating detours such as the one to the Monte Gelato Waterfalls, a real locus amoenus used as a set for many films. From here we make a long bend to cross the Treja river to the north (there are no crossing passages except for very bumpy and impervious), and reach the two pretty villages of Nepi, a Borgia stronghold, and Civita Castellana, which gathers around its Fort San Gallo. There after, we shall point to the center of the city, close to the Ljubljana Castle. Here we shall stop for lunch at a typical restaurant, where we should be able to taste some Slovenian specialties. The lunch includes a starter, a main course, a dessert and 1 glass oh house wine. in Cordoba
A ride on your ebike will take you to discover the lands north-west of Cremona up to the Oglio river.
From the Cremona camping you cross the city center with its beautiful Duomo square and using the via Persico cycle path you enter the countryside towards Vescovato on secondary roads and separate cycle paths. The only attention is the overpass after Persichello where you continue on the road.
You will meet a beautiful square in Pescarolo, and a Linen Museum to be contacted for opening only on request. In Gabbioneta a Special Protection Area awaits you consisting of an old oxbow lake, habitat for birds and finally on the banks of the Oglio.
What to see in Ostiano
As soon as you pass the entrance bridge to Ostiano, a nice dirt track path will take you to the parish curch of Torricella, to the Castle of Ostiano Castle of Ostiano and to the Barca Bridge exit with its ancient history although now in steel.
The next stops will be the Pieve di Cornella, the town of Seniga and the Castle of Scandolara Ripa d'Oglio surrounded by a water moat.
