This itinerary leads straight into the green heart of Gallipoli.
You pass through typical villages of the Apulian landscape and inland farmhouses that tell an ancient story dating back to the times of the Messapians.
Once you reach the sea, the doors of the Regional Natural Park of the Island of Sant’Andrea and Punta Pizzo coastline open up, a strip of white sand overlooking the spectacular bay and enclosing the treasures of Salento's nature.
The route starts from Gallipoli and the municipalities crossed are: Alezio, Taviano, Racale, Torre Suda, Marina di Mancaversa, Baia Verde.
The route mainly develops on asphalt roads (about 80%) with low traffic almost throughout. In the summer months of July and August, traffic on the coastal road is more intense.
Apulian farmhouses called 'masserie'
Farmhouses are ancient rural dwellings typical of Apulia. They are located in the countryside and often surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and cultivated fields. Some of these traditional buildings date back to the medieval or Renaissance period and represent an important historical and cultural heritage of the region.
What does a farmhouse look like? A farmhouse is characterized by stone walls, inner courtyards, vaulted roofs, and sometimes watchtowers. Originally used as residences for farmers and places of agricultural production, farmhouses have often been renovated and transformed into charming accommodation facilities, where visitors can immerse themselves in Apulian history and tradition.
Farmhouses offer an authentic atmosphere and a unique experience, allowing visitors to live the countryside life in a suggestive and relaxing environment. In addition to their architectural beauty, Apulian farmhouses are often surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and offer the opportunity to taste genuine local cuisine, based on fresh and high-quality products. Visiting an Apulian farmhouse means immersing oneself in the culture and traditions of this fascinating region.
This panoramic and engaging route will take you to discover some of the most hidden wonders of the Ciociaria area.
The first stop you will encounter along the way includes the Natural Monument of the Caves of Falvaterra and Rio Obaco, an oasis surrounded by nature where you can visit the speleological complex or simply cool off in the waters of the small river that flows from inside.
After the first stop you will leave for Falvaterra, a small medieval village where time seems to have stopped: here you can leave your e-bike and stroll through the alleys and squares of the historic center, photograph the panoramic views of the Latin Valley and taste local products from Luca and Serena in their Bottega Coquinaria.
It's time to get back on the saddle: once you have passed the village you will take a flat and panoramic road that surrounds the whole mountain on your left until you descend directly into the heart of the second village crossed by this itinerary, San Giovanni Incarico. With your e-bike you will be able to comfortably explore both the lower part and its most perched historic center.
As soon as you pass the village you will find yourself in front of a crossroads: here, based on the degree of confidence taken with the e-bike and your physical condition, you can choose whether to make a small detour from the path traced on top of the mountain on your left, where the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia stands out, offering an exceptional panoramic view over the Ciociaria area. In case you decide to reach it, just retrace the road in reverse to return to the route, otherwise you can directly continue the mapped itinerary.
From the village and above all from the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia, you will have happened to throw your eye on the waterways that intertwine with each other: they are the Liri River and the Sacco River that meet and flow into the characteristic Lake of San Giovanni for its shape reminiscent of an octopus. The route continues along the entire lake until it joins the Via Francigena, in a stretch of road that is partly unpaved but easily accessible through the woods, along the crescent-shaped Lake of San Giacomo (it is no coincidence that you are in Via Guardaluna) and reaches the center of Ceprano.
Here you will cross its historic alley where the signs of ancient shops are still present, you will cross the square and reach the market area: if you are lucky enough to undertake this path on market day (Saturday morning) we advise you to stop by our friend Giò where you can taste its fantastic products at km0 (it is the first stand you will meet as soon as you pass the square).
Finally, you will travel the last 2 kilometers until you return to the rental point in Ceprano, where you will have showers and shaded areas to cool off and rest.

Ammira la maestosa Torre Veglio a Terruggia e lasciati incantare dalle imponenti strutture di Casale Monferrato. Attraversa il Bosco della Pastrona e pedala lungo la tranquilla Ciclovia del Po, godendo delle viste panoramiche mozzafiato lungo il percorso. Arriva a Caniolo e concediti una sosta al suggestivo Belvedere di Treville, prima di raggiungere la spettacolare Panchina Gigante a Rosignano, circondata dagli antichi Infernot.

Starting from the rental point headquarters, cross the Po di Venezia, the main branch of the Po Delta and head towards the Po di Maistra. The itinerary continues on a pleasant cycle path that follows the course of the river up to the Ponte di Barche di Boccasette, from here it is possible to branch off the path towards Boccasette beach. Cross the bridge and head towards Scaranello, from here begins the Via delle Valli, which runs along the Valli da Pesca where among the reeds it will be possible to see the Pink Flamingos. The road leads to Porto Levante on the branch of the Po di Levante, go up the river skirting the fish farms in the valley up to the Sadocca hydro-shelter where you continue on the dirt road that leads to Ca 'Venier sul Po di Venezia from which you return to the start point

Da qui si risale lentamente tra le dolci colline di ulivo con vista sui Monti del Pollino e Mare Ionio. Il paesaggio è ricco di piantagioni secolari di ulivo e vecchi casali.
Il percorso conduce al centro abitato di San Demetrio Corona, paese di importanza storico culturale per tutti gli Arbëreshë. Qui sarà possibile visitare il complesso monastico unico nel Mezzogiorno: San Adriano, di origine Bizantino dove sono custoditi mosaici di rara bellezza.
Il percorso di ritorno attraversa la piccola frazione di Macchia Albanese che custodisce una parte importante della storia albanese in Italia.
Il percorso è medio impegnativo...ma con la bici elettrica sarà (quasi) una passeggiata!

Directorate of the sea, it is set aside from Ugento for the third stage of the Cyclovia of the Ionian Salento, but first it passes through the Gemini borgo, arriving on the coast between the Bacines of Ugento, in the heart of the Ugento Coastal Natural Park. Discover Lake Garda by e-bike, from Verona! Beautiful ride to the lake and transfer back to Verona by train.
The itinerary goes out Verona following a safe bike path and approach the moraine hills that surround the lake. On the route, we can enjoy great view over Valpolicella and then, riding among vineyards and olive trees, over Lake Garda. After climbing a few easy hills, the road is all the way down to Bardolino, a nice village on the lakeside, the perfect spot for a ice-cream!
We ride on a bike path that flanks Lake Garda until Lazise, another typical village surrounded by medieval walls and overlooked by a castle. After visiting Lazise, we head inland again, we ride on nice panoramic hills and finally we get to Peschiera del Garda.
It’s time to say goodbye to Lake Garda: from Peschiera del Garda train station is just a 20 minutes train ride to Verona.

Nel tour in e-bike tra Olmo Gentile e Roccaverano, si apre uno scenario mozzafiato. Le strette strade di campagna sono fiancheggiate da ulivi secolari, che si estendono a perdita d'occhio sulle dolci colline piemontesi. Boschi di querce e castagni avvolgono i percorsi, mentre l'aria fresca e profumata della natura accompagna ogni pedalata. Lungo il tragitto, panorami suggestivi si aprono sulle scoscese rocce di Roccaverano, creando un contrasto affascinante tra la maestosità del paesaggio e la tranquillità della campagna.

This path allows you to move from one ebike rental point to another, so that you have at your disposal not only the routes and GPS tracks starting from Chiusano San Domenico, but also those with origin at the Avellino cycle station in Contrada San Lorenzo, Atripalda.
This route can be cycled either one way or the other, depending on where you are. The GPS track is a little over 16 km long and takes about 2 hours to cover if it is travelled from Atripalda to Chiusano San Domenico; it will take about 1 hour if it is travelled downhill, i.e. from Chiusano San Domenico to Atripalda.
The road does not present any type of difficulty, so it can be tackled with all types of e-bike available for hire: city, trekking and full suspension e-MTB. By following the GPS track, you will avoid passing along the busier Strada Statale 7, also known as Vecchia Ofantina, preferring an itinerary that is more pleasant to follow and with less risk.
The following description was created assuming departure from the Atripalda rental point, at the Avellino cycle station. If, on the other hand, you depart from the Chiusano San Domenico hire point, all the information remains valid, inverting - naturally - their nature.
Leaving the Ciclostazione Avellino behind you, you only need to pedal your e-bike for 1 km to leave the bustling traffic of the city of Atripalda and take the SP5 after 200 metres uphill.
For almost 4 km you can enjoy the beauty of pedalling on a road that is not at all difficult, made up of pleasant ups and downs with small, short climbs followed by short downhill stretches. Although it has been replaced by the faster and more convenient motorway link, this road connects Atripalda and Serino and, therefore, may be affected by vehicular traffic: keep to the right in single file and pay attention.
After 3.7 km the navigator will ask you to turn left onto SP17. Here begins a 2 km climb, with no steep slopes. At the end of the climb, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Sabato valley and some magnificent vineyards. It is here, from these rows of vines, that some of Irpinia's finest wines are obtained, especially Fiano di Avellino. If you feel like it and if you have time, explore the surroundings in search of the most beautiful landscapes.
A beautiful descent will take you first to Sorbo Serpico and then to Salza Irpina, where you will have to face a short but steep climb to exit the town and turn right. For 500 metres you will ride on the SS7, with the village of Salza Irpina on your right, before turning left onto a secondary road with zero traffic. Relax and enjoy the pleasant climb (2 km) on your pedal-assisted bike. You will cross a dense and lush forest of beech and chestnut trees while maintaining a steady and decidedly rideable gradient. When you pass under an overpass and the forest gives way to a splendid panorama, it means that the climb is almost over. On your left you will have a wide view of Irpinia, with the Partenio Park, Montevergine and many small villages; on your left vineyards, countryside and the beauty of Monte Tuoro.
At the end of the road, turn right to join the SP39, which will take you to Chiusano San Domenico. When you come to a nice view (unfortunately transennined due to a landslide when this information sheet was written), it will mean you are entering the village. Go straight on, past Borgo Ripa (the old historic centre of Chiusano San Domenico, home of the journalist Carlo Nazzaro), the town square) and you have arrived. On the right, you will notice the orange sign of Reveló, the bike and rental point in Chiusano San Domenico of Ciclostazione Avellino.
This tour runs through the countryside between Quintano, Capralba, Casaletto Vaprio and Trescore Cremasco and allows you to discover some of the most important fountains of the Cremas.
The phenomenon of water resurgence occurs in that band of variable width where there is the passage between the high plain, formed by coarse pebbles, and the low plain formed by sands and clays. The rainwater or fluvial waters penetrating under the ground do not find more space to flow and emerge limpid and at a constant temperature.
The phenomenon was used in the past for the practice of rotting: the water was running in the winter on the lawns keeping them free, then, from frost and snow and allowing further mowing even in the bad season.

Alassio Ciclovia is a road path tailored to all that allows you to discover the hill in a dynamic and fun way, that allows you to discover in a completely new and dynamic way the hill and its riches.
After having left behind the inhabited ascent to the hill in a ponent direction, after a steep uphill and several back, you will find yourself at the ruderes of the San Bernardo Church, in correspondence of the first panoramic point, which offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the bay. It is continued by ascending to the Madonna of the Guard, the highest point in the Ciclovia, and also the most suggestive. Here you can enjoy a scenario that spreads from the Liguri Alps, with vettes beyond 2600 m, to the blue sea.
From here it begins the descent that, through the Cavia region, takes you to the Chiesetta of Holy Cross, with its romantic belvedere, overlooking the port and the Gallinara Island. An unforgettable panorama, which can only be photographed.

Nel tour che collega i due parchi avventura da Rimini a Riccione, si parte dal parco XXV aprile di Rimini passando poi per l’antico borgo dei pescatori di San Giuliano, il famoso quartiere tanto amato da Federico Fellini e Tonino Guerra. Una sosta lungo la suggestiva piazza sull’acqua antistante il famoso ponte di Tiberio, per proseguire alla scoperta del Castello, i palazzi storici e il Tempio Malatestiano. In questo tour si possono vedere anche l’arco di Augusto, l’anfiteatro dei romani e il nuovo centro storico di Rimini con il rinnovato teatro Galli e il cinema Fulgor, icona dell’arte felliniana in Italia e nel mondo. Si arriva quindi sul lungomare di Rimini che con la sua pista ciclabile collega direttamente la vicina Riccione, passando per Rivazzurra, Bellariva e Miramare.

The following text and the linked "hikes" routes are part of the Gallo Nero Bike Day event on last 20th September 2020. Together with the organising body we decided to let the routes be available all year round, hoping that more and more people decide to cycle on our roads. If you want to visit wineries, restaurants and businesses who joined the event, please call in advance because special menus and prices and opening times may vary without notification.
The two routes, the Granfondo (135 km, elevation difference 2621 m) and the Mediofondo (83 km, elevation difference 1526 m), offer breathtaking views of our countryside, the ultimate iconic Italian landscape. Starting in Radda in Chianti, where cyclists can admire the old city walls, and ending in Greve in Chianti, the birthplace of explorer and navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano, the route breezes by vineyards in the sunny Golden Basin of Panzano in Chianti, cuts through San Casciano and then dips down towards Castellina in Chianti, chosen by Michelangelo Buonarroti as his personal retreat. The long route meanders through the southernmost part of the territory, among lush vineyards and breathtaking hills, like the ones of San Regolo and Castagnoli. Both routes descend and rise several times, but don’t include highly technical incline climbs, allowing participants to enjoy the amazing landscape in its most glorious moment – the end of summer.

Arrivando a Rimini si procede in direzione dell’arco di Augusto, sempre percorrendo la nuova pista ciclabile che collega il mare al centro città, si attraversa poi il nuovo centro storico con il rinnovato teatro Galli e il cinema Fulgor, icona dell’arte felliniana in Italia e nel mondo. Il tour termina nella splendida cornice del borgo di San Giuliano, dove attraversando il ponte di Tiberio si entra poi nel parco XXV aprile dove è posto il parco avventura di Rimini.

We are in the area of the Nebbiolo vineyards from Barolo where the vineyards are so beautiful and historic that they have become Patrimony of the 'Umanity.
In this tour you can start in electric bike from Novello to reach the municipality of Barolo. And ' little guy but we're betting you're going to take a lot of pictures of his alleys, wineries and his Castle.

Si parte dal punto di noleggio Bike Square di Mongiardino e si seguono le indicazioni per Roccaforte e Grondona. Il percorso è interamente su strada asfaltata di basso traffico. Raggiunto il punto panoramico di Roccaforte e S. Martino si inizia una lunga discesa fino al caratteristico borgo di Grondona, attraverso un territorio verdeggiante e profumato ricco di numerose essenze arboree. Il borgo ricorda quelli medievali dell'entroterra Genovese, con edifici costruiti in pietra locale.Tra le numerose atrattive storiche vi sono la Chiesa dell'Annunziata e la Chiesa di S. Maria dell'Assunta, entrambe romaniche, la torre cinquecentesca superstite del Castello Doria e l'antico ponte in pietra.Ci si può fermare per assaporare i prodotti tipici locali della valle Spinti tra cui spicca l'aromatico miele.
Trascorsa una rinfrescante pausa nella quiete e nel verde si ritorna a Sisola per la riconsegna delle ebike.
