You can reach Saluzzo by train along the Savigliano-Saluzzo-Cuneo line. The line is managed by Arenaways, our partner in promoting this train+bike experience.
The BikeSquare Monviso rental companies will take care of delivering the e-bikes at the station and illustrate the route that you can follow from the BikeSquare app.
The route is simple and allows you to reach the center of Saluzzo and get to the top where the most beautiful buildings linked to the history of this town and the Marquisate of Saluzzo are concentrated.
The route continues to Staffarda and from here, after visiting the Abbey and admiring its magnificent cloister, you can pedal towards Revello which welcomes you to the Po Valley - and then return to Saluzzo.

A new way to see the city of Turin ... often painted like a gray and industrial city, it will surprise you by showing its green and naturalistic side! You can observe the local flora and fauna by encountering squirrels and birds that chirp.
Path suitable for everyone and families with children.
From Movegreen, where you can rent e-bikes, the route runs along the cycle path that runs along the bank of the river Po. Along the way, there will be urban asphalt sections and dirt tracks, but it remains an easy and suitable route all.
From the shop you will proceed to the tree-lined avenue of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, then turn right into the Parco del Valentino where you can admire the Valentino castle and the medieval village.
After this first km the route will wind along the banks of the river Po: after the park, you will cross the Isabella bridge and you will go on the opposite bank of the river, where we will find the bike path on the left side of the road.
Along the way, you can see the Cappuccini mountain and the churches of the Gran Madre di Dio and the Madonna del Pilone. Upon reaching the bridge of the Sassi fraction of Turin, the return journey along the Po Antonelli will begin.
A possible detour into the city center of about 3 km to observe the main squares, historic sites, and shopping streets.

Canelli and its “Torre dei Contini”
The track will start downhill until you take a panoramic dirt road that will lead you through the vineyards. A stop with photos here is really worth it.
Once back on the asphalt downhill, the route will wind through a maze of secondary streets until it reaches the town of Calosso near its main hamlet, the Piana del Salto.
Continuing towards the hamlet of Sant’Antonio di Canelli, the route will force you to take a turn near the church of the same name.
From here you can also decide to proceed straight and then left, abandoning the path to follow the track called A05, considerably lengthening the tour in favor of a more complete excursion into the surrounding landscape.
By staying on the A08 route, you will quickly reach the junction for the Torre dei Contini.
Near a purple building you can take the dirt road which, on foot, will take you to this particular monument.
The Tower, dating back to 1617, delimited the boundaries of the municipality and served as a military lookout.
From here, it is possible to have a 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape, glimpsing the perfect meeting between the hills of Monferrato and those of the Asti Langa.
Continuing the planned route you will return to take a dirt road.
Pay attention to the last part, which is quite steep.
The landscape, from here, is definitely worth the effort!
The track will also take you to what in the Piedmontese dialect is called "ciabot", that is a small farmhouse immersed in the vineyards once used as a tool shed.
From here you will have an exciting view over the whole landscape below, between Canelli and Santo Stefano Belbo.
The town of Canelli is a small town of about ten thousand inhabitants that rises near the southernmost border of the Monferrato Astigiano, a few steps from the province of Cuneo.
Canelli is historically divided into two parts: “Il Borgo” and “Villanuova”. The first, further down the valley, is the one that has continued to expand with the passing of time while the second, the oldest Canelli, lies on the slopes of the hill and is still dominated by its castle, today Castello Gancia. The Borgo and Villanuova are connected by one of the historical elements of Canelli: La Sternia.
The Sternia climbs up the hill, crosses the medieval part of the town, reaches Piazza San Leonardo, home to the church of the same name and that of San Rocco (recognizable because it is completely brick). From here the road continues uphill until it reaches the top, at the foot of what is now Castello Gancia.

The Castle of Canelli was the protagonist of a rather troubled history. Presumably born at the beginning of the eleventh century, the Canelli Castle originally had the purpose of defending the roads that led from Asti to Savona, essential for merchant traffic.
Subsequently the fortress has witnessed many struggles and battles that have caused repeated destruction and reconstruction, until 1929 when the Castle was purchased by the Gancia family and transformed into a large noble residence. Even today, the castle dominates the town from above and shows the Canellese and visitors its beautiful appearance of an eighteenth-century villa.
Unfortunately, as the private home of the Gancia family, the castle cannot be visited, however, at least one passage is required to admire it from the outside.
Asti Spumante is the symbol of Canelli and with it are also the places where the wine takes shape. The Underground Cathedrals are located in the Borgo and represent, in a certain sense, the buried counterpart of the town. These were recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014.
We are talking about ancient and incredibly large cellars, where the fine wines of the area are brought to rest and where they develop their peculiarities. The Underground Cathedrals of Canelli belong to four great historic wineries: Bosca, Contratto, Gancia and Coppo. Although in different ways, all 4 companies make their treasures open to the public.
Continuing along the track, the path will lead you back to the Tojo Company, from which you started.

Starting from the BikeSquare Delta del Po headquarters, you travel along internal roads that cross the countryside of the Donzella Island and arrive in Cà Mello where the Lavender Field is cultivated, the cultivation was planted for the production of essential oil of lavender but soon became a tourist attraction in the flowering period, a show of colors and scents, flowering goes from the first / second weekend of June to the second week of July and varies according to the climatic conditions. Novello, the starting and ending point of your tour, welcomes you with its quiet and authentic atmosphere. Il secondo giorno del tour di una settimana alla scoperta delle Langhe ci guida in direzione di Dogliani, paese natale del presidente della Repubblica Einaudi e patria del vino Dogliani DOCG.
La cittadina di Dogliani è famosa non solo per l'enogastronomia, gli amanti dell'architettura Neogotica troveranno sicuramente molti luoghi di loro interesse, numerosi sono gli edifici di pregio realizzati con questo stile, Giovanni Battista Schellino rinomato architetto doglianese ha lasciano indissolubilmente la sua firma sulla città.
Belvedere Langhe
La pedalata prosegue in direzione di Belvedere Langhe, paese piccolissimo ma infinitamente panoramico, il percorso in ebike sale su per le colline tra vigneti, noccioleti e boschetti.
In questo tratto la natura la fa da padrone, il suono del vento tra le foglie, il cinguettio degli uccelli e i mille suoni della natura realizzano la perfetta colonna sonora per la pedalata.
Monchiero
la giornata in ebike alla scoperta del Dogliani termina con la visita alla cittadina di Monchiero.
L'antico bordo e la panchina gigante Big Bench offrono un panorama mozzafiato su tutta la vallata. La salita è normalmente impegantiva ma con l'aiuto della bici elettrica è tutta un'altra storia!

What to see in the area
The tour is extremely easy, on average flat and suitable for everyone.
It is designed for groups and events and is very scenic.
Departing from the AC Ranch you will quickly reach the village of San Rocco and then take a secondary road until you reach the Municipality of Frascaro.
The road crosses cultivated fields that extend as far as the eye can see, giving cyclists a great sense of peace and tranquillity.
Once in Frascaro, you can consider a stop at the Osteria del Gallo Merlino, which will offer excellent dishes and typical Piedmontese specialties.
On the main square of the village there are charging stations for bicycles. Continuing the route, it will be possible to cross a small red iron bridge: these structures are typical of flat areas and are used by cyclists, pedestrians and tourists to cross the numerous streams that are used to irrigate the fields.
It is convenient to get off the bike and carry it by hand, as the bridge is quite narrow.
After a few more kilometers of pedaling it will be possible to reach the Giant Red Bench of Borgoratto Alessandrino which will offer you a pleasant view over the fields as far as the eye can see.
From the bench, the ride will continue on the way back passing through the Vigna dei Pastelli di Pico Maccario, a prestigious local winery.

How to visit Nizza Monferrato:
Nizza is the most important agricultural and commercial center located in the heart of Monferrato area, one of the most famous Italian places of wine production in the world, especially as regards red wines. UNESCO World Heritage Site for its landscape assets and for the Barbera and Nizza DOCG wines, it is the most important center of the province and of the Belbo Valley.
In Nizza it is worth taking a stroll through the streets of the center and stopping to admire the Campanon tower, in the town square, the oldest civic tower in the city, incorporated into the Town Hall.
The historic center is beautiful, full of typical bars and restaurants where you can taste the specialties of Nicese and Piedmontese cuisine based on Cardo Gobbo, a renowned local product.
There will certainly be the possibility of some amazing tasting of red wine at the Regional Winery of Nizza, located near the splendid Palazzo Crova, an admirable example of an 18th century noble town residence.
At the end of the tour, the more "daring" will be able to reach the Church of Madonna della Neve, one of the highest points in the town.
It can be reached via a very steep climb but the view over the city and the surrounding municipalities is certainly worth the effort.

L’itinerario ci porterà nella splendida riserva naturale del Bosco delle Pianelle, un’area boschiva caratterizzata da una ricca vegetazione e dalla presenza di fauna avicola. Il bosco che si estende per circa 600 ettari si raggiunge dopo una pedalata panoramica nelle campagne della murgia; giunti nella riserva si percorreranno diversi sentieri alcuni dei quali davvero spettacolari. L’escursione prevede la sosta in masseria situata all’interno dell’area boschiva con degustazione di prodotti tipici. Si conclude con il rientro a Martina Franca.

Unique ad unrepeatable tour along the the regina viarum, the ancient appia. It starts from Cestius Pyramid near Porta San Paolo, you can reach the Circus Maximus pedaling comfortably along the cycle path of viale Aventino.
From there you will skirt the Baths of Caracalla reaching Porta San Sebastiano. Here we are along the Appian Way pedaling on cobblestones admiring catacombs, tombs, tombs, churches, villas, milestones: an authentic open-air museum that can be visited by e-bike. a Empoli, in Val d'Arno
Il Parco della Maremma si estende per 25 km, tra colline, spiagge e alte scogliere circondate da paludi, pinete, campi coltivati e pascoli. Il Parco è aperto tutto l’anno e sono stati predisposti 8 itinerari di varie difficoltà che si possono percorrere sia singolarmente sia in gruppo, accompagnati o meno da una guida in base al periodo dell’anno.
PARCO DELLA MAREMMA – MARINA DI ALBERESE
Partendo da Alberese Paese e percorrendo la ciclabile che porta fino al mare, avremo la possibilità di vedere cavalli e Vacche Maremmane al pascolo, come la possibilità di incontrare volpi e specie di uccelli che nidificano dentro il Parco.
Prima di Arrivare alla spiaggia avrete la possibilità di fare una sosta nell’area ristoro, uno street food per una breve pausa.
Arrivati alla spiaggia di Marina di Alberese potrete parcheggiare le e-bike lungo i porta bici messi a disposizione e godervi un bel bagno nelle acque cristalline.

Bistagno
It is 8 km far from Acqui Terme, you can find here all local services and accomodation facilities. Visit the tower of the Castle and the gesso exhibition dedicated to Giulio Monteverde sculptor. From Bistagno you can follow a trail through the hills and it is suitable for walking, cycling and horse-riding. On the first Sunday of every month there is the "Bistagnatico": a flea market.
Monastero Bormida
In this small village visit the 14th Century castle, the chapel of Santa Libera (a hiking shelter) and the big bench of the heart from where you can enjoy a breathtaking landscape on Monferrato. Yearly, on the second Sunday of March, there is the Polentone: the festival of the Polenta (cornmeal mush).
Bubbio
Bubbio is in the Langa Astigiana, the Asti area of Langhe, and it lays on a rocky platform above the Bormida river. There are a lot of trekking and MTB routes. The octagonal chapel of San Grato is a great sightseeing point. The historical centre has maintained the 13th Century medieval structure with the "via maestra" (main road) and lateral alleys. The parish curch of Assunta is a jewel of Piedmont's Baroque. The park with sculptures by Quirin Mayer is a wonderful open-air-museum with the works of the Swiss contemporary art sculptor.

Percorso ad anello sulle tracce dei Franchi e dei pellegrini salendo all'imponente Sacra di San Michele per poi ridiscendere fino ai Laghi e al borgo medioevale di Avigliana lungo un tratto del Sentiero dei Principi.
Il percorso parte da Sant'Ambrogio per risalire la valle lungo l'inaspettata Strada Segreta del Diacono Martino che attraversa Chiusa San Michele e Vaie per raggiungere Sant'Antonino di Susa da dove si imbocca la strada che sale alla frazione Cresto.
Superato il Cresto la strada si inerpica lungo il boscoso versante nord della valle, seguendo una lunga serie di tornanti fino a raggiungere le borgate di Folatone e Bennale, da dove si possono godere suggestivi scorci panoramici sulla valle e sulla Sacra. Di qui, per un breve tratto di strada non asfaltata si arriva al Colle Braida (1007 m. slm) per poi riscendere sulla carrozzabile fino alla Sacra di San Michele... un vera e propria opera di arte sacra e architettura medioevale, permeata di storia, che vale la pena visitare, magari dopo esservi ristorati e aver ricaricato le batterie alla Cascina dei Canonici, un agriturismo immerso nel verde poco lontano dalla Sacra. La discesa prosegue poi imboccando il Sentiero dei Principi che vi porterà alla borgata Mortera passando dall'azienda agricola Carlo Guerra. Subito dopo Mortera è possibile fare una visita alla Certosa di San Francesco prima di proseguire la discesa fino a raggiungere la strada ciclabile che entra nel Parco dei Laghi di Avigliana e, costeggiando il Lago Grande, aggiunge il centro storico, sovrastato dalle rovine del Castello, da cui si può tornare a Sant'Ambrogio lungo vicoli e strade secondarie che rivelano angoli poco conosciuti di Avigliana tra cui il famoso Dinamitificio Nobel.

The route starts from Cremona, lying on the Great River like a gigantic boat, to cross over, using the cycle path suspended on the iron bridge over the Po, in the province of Piacenza and pedaling in search of castles and fortresses like that of Monticelli d'Ongina, but peering into strange buildings like bunkers and shacks.
What to see in San Nazzaro
A passage will be dedicated to Isola Serafini, between Cremona and Piacenza, the largest island in the Po river basin with the hydroelectric power plant Carlo Bobbio and the search for a Dutch windmill and a picnic area where to take a break.
In spring, the part of the route that leads from Villanova to Cremona is dotted with cherry trees in bloom and other fruit trees, and if you can't admire the white-and-white show of flowering, you can always console yourself with a taste of the tasty fruits among the tastier than the whole plain or stopping to taste river fish.
