Sempre salendo si intravede Villa Lancellotti, se salando ancora la piu regale Vialla Falconieri .scendendo invece verso destra si ammira villa parisi .superato l'ombrellino si intravede dopo aver raggiunto la roornd anche villa Mergè. Cintinunado poi lungo la via di frascati si rimane stupefatti dalla maestosa Villa Mondragone sede dell'università di Tor vergata.Salendo sulla vetta del monte tuscolo si erge la città di tusculum con i suoi reperti archelogici.a seguire si passa a Villa Cavalletti e Villa grazioli. Finito il tour si attraversa il paese di Frascati con le sue fraschette e il suo centro storico.
Un grazioso cancelletto separa il borgo antico della città di Montalbano Jonico, denominata dai residenti Terra Vecchia, da una suggestiva immersione nel cuore della Riserva naturale dei Calanchi per valorizzare un luogo unico che racconta come era la vita della Terra milioni di anni fa.
Il borgo antico è collegato alla valle del Fiume Agri da una mulattiera (appiett') che attraversano i calanchi della Riserva, un tempo via obbligata per i contadini che quotidianamente si recavano nei propri poderi (giardini).
Tra i nudi calanchi, ricchissimi di fossili e accenni di macchia mediterranea, si possono effettuare osservazioni botaniche, geologiche, paleontologiche e storico-culturali.
Il sito è stato definito dai massimi esperti un vero museo paleontologico a cielo aperto, costituito da un’immensa quantità e varietà di contenuto fossilifero con ben nove livelli vulcanoclastici, a testimonianza di altrettante e distinte eruzioni vulcaniche.
I Calanchi sono costituiti da una successione sedimentaria di età tra 1,2 milioni di anni e circa 640 mila anni che rappresenta l’espressione fisica (le argille) della transizione dal Pleistocene inferiore al Pleistocene medio.
Per purezza geologica e di stratificazione i Calanchi di Montalbano Jonico sono stati proposti all’Inqua (International Union for Quaternary Research) per il Chiodo d’oro (golden spyke).

This is a route suitable for everyone, meaning it's simple yet also evocative.
It starts from the e-bike rental point of BikeSquare in the center of Premosello-Chiovenda.
You pass through the Borgo Tenso Nature Oasis, where it's possible to ride sheltered by oaks, ashes, willows, and maples. If you manage to rent the e-bikes in spring, you will be able to admire the blooming of hawthorn and elderflower.
The Oasis is known for the presence of many birds such as herons, cuckoos, tawny owls, buzzards, and kingfishers. In the clearings and the forest, there are dens of foxes, hares, and squirrels. Who knows if you'll spot something?
After leaving the more natural part of the route, you continue to the hamlet of Colloro, where you can enjoy the view of the Toce plain and perhaps stop to taste a typical dish.

Stage 1 - Novello
The first leg allows you to visit Novello. You can stop for a coffee and discover the beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the Langhe.
From Novello you take the Ravera road that offers one of the most beautiful views in the area.
Stage 2 - Monforte
Monforte is pretty on the plain, but it is worth the climb to the top of the village where there is the amphitheater and the giant bench. I assure you that the view is worth the effort of the climb.
From Monforte take the Bussia road, a semi-flat, even shady road where you can even find some olive trees.
Stage 3 - Perno
Perno is a hamlet of Monforte (not to be confused with Sommariva Perno, which is elsewhere), very pretty. A minor place with nice restaurants and a spectacular view of the Langhe. Arriving in Perno you see on the left a small church among the vineyards that has great charm
Stage 4 - Roddi
Passing through back roads you reach Paciarini and then Roddi. It is worth stopping to eat at the Crota and visit the castle home of the l Truffle Hub.
Stage 5 - Verduno
Verduno is a pleasant village where you can taste Pelaverga, a wine produced only here in the Langa. Don't miss the panoramic terrace. Recommended Lunch: Bercau or Ca del Re.
For sleeping always Ca del Re, Real Castello or Lo Speziale.
Stage 6 - La Morra
At La Morra I recommend climbing the Belvedere. It is worth it. Don't miss a glass at Uve.
Stage 7 - Return to Novello
Before returning the bike, stop by Novello to taste Nas-cetta the native white wine that you can only try here.

Agro Pontino and the Appia Antica
Today's e-bike cycling tour starts from Borgo Faiti and reaches Terracina passing through the Appia Antica, offering a fascinating journey that will allow you to immerse yourself in the history and culture of the area, savoring the local typical products.
Starting from Borgo Faiti, a small village in the Agro Pontino in the heart of the Lepini Mountains, you can admire wonderful landscapes and breathe the fresh air of the countryside. The e-bike route crosses fields, vineyards, and various watercourses used in reclamation and agriculture, making this stretch very suggestive.
Terracina and its local products
The e-bike route continues along the Linea Pia reclamation canal where you can admire the papal customs house and reach the seaside town of Terracina. There are numerous opportunities to stop and taste local products, such as buffalo mozzarella, pecorino cheeses, extra virgin olive oil, and local wines. Equally numerous are the wineries in the area to taste the exquisite wines from the surrounding hills such as Moscato di Terracina DOC.
Today's e-bike tour ends in Terracina, where you can admire the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear sea, savoring typical dishes of the local cuisine based on fresh fish, such as pasta with clams, grilled swordfish, and sea fritters.

Once the bike is loaded on the cableway, in a few minutes you can reach the village of Chamois, the Pearl of the Alps and the only Italian town not reachable by car.
From here we continue along the splendid farm that, between a panoramic view and the other, leads up to La Magdeleine. Its 7 mills have been perfectly restored and recovered for ethnographic purposes.

The route passes through the joyful Frascati, the volcanic lakes in Nemi and Castel Gandolfo, crossing Lanuvio, Genzano, Ariccia and finally Marino and Frascati. The itinerary has an easy practicability and during the trip you will enjoy fantastic panoramas. Each town has its own peculiarity: Rocca di Papa with its fortress, Nemi with its lake and its misterious town, Lanuvio is full of history with its walls and its temples, Ariccia is famous thanks to its "fraschette", Genzano has fantastic boulevards, Albano with its joyful main avenue. Finally you can taste the characteristic wine of Marino and Frascati in the most famous villas of Grottaferrata and Frascati.

Partendo dal punto di noleggio ebike di Mongiardino Ligure,si segue la stradina "via Crêuza" che ripercorre l' antica VIA DELLA SALATA. Il nome dice tutto.Era una delle strade dove le carovane di muli carichi di sale, erano diretti verso la Lombardia e il Piemonte.Arrivati alla frazione di Costa Salata ,si prosegue atrraverso uno stretto bivio che sale a sinistra, segnallato da una freccia di legno. Qui si abbandona lo sterrato,e la stradina sale tranquillamente, vi sono piccoli tratti in cui il terreno e' sconnesso ed e' raccomandabile ,scendere e spingere per il breve tratto l' e-bike,in alcuni punti vi sono delle pozzanghere.La stradina si immerge in un bosco di castagni.A un certo punto si incontra un grande prato verde ,girando a sinistra si entra in quel che rimane del paese e della piccola chiesetta dedicata a San Pasquale.
Ritornati nella strada principale si prosegue verso Borassi ,Frazione di Roccaforte Ligure . Il percorso prosegue verso Montemanno, e qui si gode di una bellissima vista sulla Val Sisola e sui vigneti di Timorasso,Arrivati a Sisola si rientra pedalando lungo la strada ormai asfaltata.

Nelle risaie dei riso biologico e della DOP
Partendo dal Castello Consortile di Buronzo e da una colazione/merenda a base di prodotti del territorio ad Armonie in Corte, si parte pedalando lungo la Strada Buronzina, per poi seguire il Nuovo Canale della Baraggia, che porta in territorio di Rovasenda, con il suo castello (anzi, sono due!) e i suoi numerosi nidi di cicogne, ma anche con la sua produzione di riso "solidale" biologico e di cachemere.
La Riserva Naturale delle Baragge
Se attraversando queste risaie vedrete coltivazioni geometriche, a righe, con tanti argini regolari di varietà vegetali molto diverse, avrete visto i campi coltivati con un'attenzione marcata alla biodiversità ambientale. Se invece incontrerete degli agricoltori locali, fatevi raccontare la storia del famoso ciliegio della Baraggia! Intanto costeggiando una cava di terra da mattoni (e il colore non mente!) ci si avvicina alla Riserva Naturale delle Baragge, un'area protetta di parco naturale dove subito si notano le betulle dai tronchi bianche alternate ad arbusti bassi molto diversi tra loro.
Il canale FIAT
Si attraversa la riserva, per arrivare al torrente Torbola e al canale FIAT, che prende nome dalla celebre fabbrica torinese che aveva in progetto di aprire una sede un questa zona ma che poi non trovò il consenso del territorio, spostandosi a Cossato. Tutto il canale è caratterizzato da vie di risalita per la fauna, che consentono agli animali caduti accidentalmente in acqua di poter uscire più agevolmente. Continuando il percorso si trovano allevamenti di bovini all'aperto e anche una cascina con un aereo precipitato e mai ripartito, nonostante sembri ancora integro!
Verso le colline del vino di Gattinara
Allontanandosi dall'area boschiva, delimitata da colorate arnie per le api e con sullo sfondo i ruderi del Castello di San Lorenzo a Gattinara, si raggiunge il Rio Collopasso, addentrandosi nei boschi del fiume Sesia, con vallate ben marcate superate da ponti canali e nelle quali si continua a pedalare sulle strade alzaie. Si arriva così al punto di partenza del canale FIAT, costeggiando l'abitato di Gattinara (qui partono le strade per raggiungere i ruderi del Castello di San Lorenzo e la Torre delle Castelle, punti panoramici interessanti sulle colline del vino), percorrendo un tratto della ciclabile cittadina per poi rientrare, dietro alla parrocchiale di San Pietro, nei boschi del fiume Sesia.
Sul fiume Sesia
Nei boschi del fiume Sesia raggiungiamo la ex colonia elioterapica di Gattinara (dotata di parco giochi, sgambatoio per i cani e area attrezzata per feste e manifestazioni), il vecchio lavatoio del paese, le vecchie centrali idroelettriche e la Ca d'Assi, un'area di sosta pic nic proprio sull'ansa del fiume Sesia, punto di imbocco per la cosiddetta Roggia dell'Avvocato e dalla quale continuiamo a seguire la Roggia Marchionale, qui ben riconoscibile per i regolari muri di ciottoli di fiume.
L'Isoetes Maliverniana, alga rara
Continuando nei boschi di Lenta e costeggiando le cosiddette Lame del Sesia, si giunge a Lenta, dove con una piccola deviazione sul canale che costeggia la scuola si può vedere un'alga rara e protetta, dai filamenti lunghissimi e verde acceso: l'Isoetes Maliverniana. Da Lenta si torna tra le risaie, tra chiese campestri e un'area militare invalicabile in cui sono depositati migliaia di carri armati dell'Esercito Italiano. Da Lenta, dirigendosi verso Rovasenda, si incrocia poi la cascina dei nipote del conte Negroni, l'inventore del celebre cocktail! Da Rovasenda si torna quindi a Buronzo.

Romanesque Church of Palagione
After visiting Volterra's historic center, the bike route continues gently descending into the verdant countryside, where cypress-lined avenues and olive groves create the quintessential Tuscan backdrop. The first destination, Palagione, emerges after about 5 kilometers of relaxed pedaling through this pastoral paradise. The highlight of Palagione is undoubtedly its exquisite Romanesque church, a masterpiece of medieval religious architecture dating back to the 12th century. Standing in serene isolation amid the surrounding fields, this ancient place of worship invites visitors to step back in time. The simple yet elegant façade of the church, characterized by local sandstone and precise geometric designs, exemplifies the Romanesque architectural style that flourished throughout Tuscany. Inside, the cool and silent environment offers a moment of rest and contemplation, while the ancient stone columns and surviving frescoes speak of centuries of devotion and artistic expression. Pignano
Leaving Palagione behind, with the e-bikes you effortlessly reach a landscape that unfolds like a living Renaissance painting. After about 7 kilometers of gentle undulations, you arrive at Pignano, a perfectly preserved medieval village that seems frozen in time. This enchanting settlement, with its cluster of stone buildings centered around a historic manor house, embodies the timeless charm of rural Tuscany. Pignano's narrow cobblestone streets invite exploration, revealing hidden courtyards adorned with flowering plants and glimpses of daily life that have changed little over the centuries. Return to Volterra

The ancient city of Volterra gradually appears, with its medieval towers and defensive walls silhouetted against the sky. Your approach takes you past the remains of the Etruscan necropolis, a poignant reminder of the three thousand years of continuous human habitation in this region. The route culminates in a truly spectacular finale with the entrance to Volterra through the iconic Porta all'Arco, an Etruscan gate dating back to the 4th century BC. This ancient portal, with its characteristic three weathered stone heads watching over all who pass beneath, provides an appropriate conclusion to a journey that has traversed both the physical landscape and the rich tapestry of history that defines this remarkable corner of Tuscany.
volterra, a volterra
The itinerary starts from the Bike Square rental point in Cabella Ligure. From here you take the S.P. 140 and cross the bridge over the Borbera river until you reach the towns of Dovanelli, Dova Inferior, Dova Superior and finally the pass of San Fermo, at crossing point of the Ligurian Apennines with an altitude of 1.129 m at Mount San Fermo along the road which connects Liguria with the Borbera Valley. The pass in the past was very important because it was the direct salt route to Lombardy. On the Piedmontese side of the pass is the chapel of San Fermo with two bas-reliefs from the ancient abbey of San Clemente. From the pass you have a fantastic view of the Borbera valley, Valley Scrivia and Valley Vobbia, on clear days the view reaches the Western Alps, Liguria and sometimes even Corsica. The Chapel of San Fermo is locatedin the on the border between Liguria and Piedmontat a height of 1177 meters above sea level, in the Ligurian Apennines. From the chapel you can enjoy the Ligurian Sea, the Apennines, the western Alps and, on the clearest days, Monviso. The patronal feast is characteristic Ligurian pancakes held at the chapel of the same name on 9 August every year. For the return trip you pass thisugh the towns of Casalbusone and Gordena, typical villages similar to those of the Ligurian hinterland, built with local stone and immersed in an unobstructed nature of beech, oak and chestnut woods.

Partendo dall'antico borgo medievale di Spello, immergiti nella bellezza della natura e della storia lungo un percorso che ti condurrà attraverso suggestivi luoghi e pittoreschi borghi.
Si parte da Spello che sebbene piccola in termini di dimensioni fisiche, attrae visitatori da ogni angolo del Mondo grazie alla sua ricchezza di monumenti, chiese e suggestivi vicoli in pietra che si arrampicano per le colline circostanti. Il suo centro cittadino è caratterizzato da un'atmosfera vibrante e cosmopolita, con negozi artigianali e ristoranti che offrono cucina locale e tradizionale umbra, che si amalgama perfettamente con l'eleganza dell'architettura medievale. Nella parte alta di Spello il punto di riferimento è l'antica fonte del Bregno, da cui parte la via del Subasio, che percorreremo salendo tra gli uliveti di fianco a un tratto dell'antico acquedotto romano, e venendo immediatamente immersi nella bellezza del paesaggio rurale. Deviando poi a sinistra salirai sulla emozionante via del paradiso, per arrivare poi a i resti della antica e affascinante Abbazia di Santa Maria di Vallegloria, dove potrai ammirare il suggestivo panorama e godere della tranquillità del luogo.
Continuando a salire verso la sommità del Monte Subasio scorgeremo splendidi punti di vista di tutta la valle circostante, per poi ridiscendere verso l'antico borgo e castello di Collepino.
Da qui proseguiremo sulla panoramica strada provinciale di Spello che rimanendo in quota ci porterà fino all'antico castello di San Giovanni di Collepino. Una sosta nel "paradiso di pietra rosa" è ripagata dalla tranquillità e dalla bellezza dell'antico borgo.
Si riprende la via tornando e ridiscendendo un tratto della stessa strada, per poi virare a sinistra sull'antica via della Chiona che tra boschi e paesaggi mozzafiato ci farà ridiscendere verso la valle lungo l'itinerario dei prodotti tipici del territorio. Non mancheranno infatti opportunità di vedere e di visitare alcuni dei luoghi dove si producono le eccellenze enogastronomiche del territorio, fino al rientro verso Spello.

Inizialmente dovremmo percorrere un tratto di strada provinciale per poi entrare nel percorso sterrato che porta fino all’Abbazia di San Rabano, lì avrete la possibilità di fermarmi per una sosta pic nic oppure continuare lungo il percorso che porta su una torre di avvistamento. Questa vi permetterà di vedere un bellissimo panorama.
Continuando lungo il percorso, troverete un piccolo tratto un pochino più impegnativo per circa 100 m, dopodiché il sentiero vi porterà lungo una bellissima oliveta tutto su asfalto, da lì potrete lasciare le bici e proseguire a piedi per arrivare fino alla Torre di Collelungo, riscendendo a piedi fino alla spiaggia consigliamo di farvi un bel bagno nelle acque cristalline.
Ritornando al punto in cui abbiamo lasciato le bici, risaliamo in sella e proseguiamo verso Marina di Alberese, si entrerà in una fresca e profumata pineta lì potrete fare una sosta presso il punto di ristoro, costeggeremo tutto l’argine fino ad arrivare alla Torre di avvistamento che ci ricongiungerà alla ciclabile che ci riporta al punto di Noleggio al paese di Alberese.
Esperienza consigliata per una giornata in pieno relax alla scoperta della riserva marina e della costa.
