The red giant bench in Clavesana, in Borgata Gorrea, is part of the Big Bench Community Project created by Chris [...]

The old town of Monchiero stood high above the road that leads up to Monforte. In 1325, foundations were laid for the Sancti Columbani de Moyero Church, to be constructed on the San Colombano Hill at the confluence of the Rea and Tanaro Rivers. By 1739, the ancient parish had fallen into ruin. It was subsequently demolished, rebuilt, and finally transformed in 1773 into a sanctuary. The view extends over hills and mountains that still preserve the tranquility of the past; small village with its church, the birthplace of Eso Peluzzi, retains its air of antiquity.
