Plecnik e-bike tour Ljubljana

We invite you to join us on a discovery of Slovenian most notable architect life and work: Jože Plečnik.

With yours or ours e bikes we shall stop at some places in the city center like Market (Adamič Lundrovo Nabrežje 1), Three Bridges (Prešerov trg 1) and Congress Squre (Kongresni trg 15).

Later on, we are going to focus on his works outside of the city center: we shall reach the area of Tivoli park (Celovška cesta 23) , ride along Roman walls (Mirje 19), reach Krakovo and his home area Trnovo (Karunova ulica 4). Here we shall visit his home-museum.

After lunch in a local restaurant, we suggest to bike:

• 1: along Ljubljanica river toward Ljubljana Marshes (Črna vas 48) where his famous church has been built almost 100 years ago

• 2: to continue to Ljubljana's cementary Žale (Med hmeljniki 2) and back to the city center with a stop at another Plečnik's work: a franciscan church in Šiška (Černetova ulica 20).

This is a full day tour, easy (flat terrain), comfortable ride.
