Descrizione
This route is for experienced cyclists, not recommended with heavy terrain. It follows the Costa del Vento, the Butterfly Trail, and passes Valorsa and Montù Berchielli. From Ruino, the route descends toward the Molato Dam, built in the 1920s. Its construction created a reservoir that serves as a water reserve for the Tidone Valley and the province of Piacenza. The dam also features several downhill trails. After half-circling the lake, the route ascends the Fosso del Vago. The terrain here must be dry; otherwise, take the "dry" route.
The route then takes us to Costa Pelata, from where we descend towards the Ghiaia di Montalto stream. From there, we climb back up to Montalto Pavese, the starting point.
