It is a very exciting journey, full of mysteries and charm. It winds its way from Rome through the queen of streets, the ancient Appia, through Ciampino, Santa Maria delle Mole and Marino. From there you start to climb towards the Roman castles passing through the ancient path that ran along the Appian Way, you arrive at Castel Gandolfo admiring the lake of Albano, cross the town and immerse yourself in the woods reaching the splendid town of Nemi. We then continue to the Vivaro through the woods descending to the glorious city of Velletri. From here you can return directly by train or, why not, with the e-bike.

Unique and original route of the Roman castles to allow the visit of the Earth Markets - SLOW FOOD organized by the Convivium of Frascati and the Terre Tuscolane in these days (Frascati Saturday- Monteporzio Sunday -Rocca Priora Tuesday only morning)
It starts from the train station of Frascati, walking through the alleys of the village admiring churches and bell towers you arrive at the Parco dell'Ombrellino. Right here is the first Earth Market, that of Frascati. From here you begin to climb towards Mount Tusculum arriving at the suggestive archaeological park of the ancient city of Tusculum, with your theater and the ancient remains of the city.
Then you descend from the Mount along paths in the woods and you arrive in an enchanting place a farm "la Collina degli asinelli" where Lucia will host you in her Picnic area and where you can taste her beautiful desserts or want to eat your packed lunch.
We then continue arriving at Rocca Priora with the other Earth Market, then continue towards Monte Porzio Catone with its elegant historic center and arrive in the last of the Earth Markets.
At the end of the route proceed gently towards Frascati. The Slow Food Earth Markets allow visitors to taste the unique delicacies of the area such as bread, cheese, cold cuts, honey, etc. and then enjoy them in the splendid setting of the Castelli Romani and unique and picturesque views.
ATTENTION SAYS FOR EXPERT BIKERS !!! The path part of the 'inhabited of the Brengon fraction and descends following the directions in front of the 'Hotel Tantané for the Messelod fraction. Past the parking lot of the Clou fraction take the trail to the left, overlooking the playground helped by going down in front of you along the paved road fairly steep, coming down the road to continue on the trail in a fraction direction Herin. Go down by paying a lot of ATTENTION because the path is tight and steep. After about 15. that is about 800m you will find a dirt road, turn left on the bike and prepare for a long descent until you reach the Crepin fraction at Valtournenche. Follow well the map of the 'application. Once you have arrived at Crepin continue on the paved road to reach the centre of Valournenche, cross the fractions and descend until the departure of the Chamois funiway. Scrupulously follow the map on your phone. Take the funeral by reminding you that it works until at 22.00. Once you have arrived in Chamois you can stop to drink something by now. Continue in the direction La Magdeleine to reach, by going through a beautiful pineta, the point of arrival. Congrats you are extreme bikers! !!!

From the Baths of Caracalla in Rome to the Castelli Romani
The 5-stage e-bike tour starts in Rome at the Terme di Caracalla, following the ancient Roman road known as the Appia Antica, on cobblestones and basalt stones, passing by tombs, churches, mausoleums, villas, and milestones, eventually reaching Santa Maria delle Mole. It's like cycling through an open-air museum on an endless bike path. At times, the route merges with the Via Appia Nuova, which overlaps with the ancient one, a perfect example of the historical stratification of the area. You'll reach the Castelli Romani passing through Albano, Genzano, Ariccia, Nemi, Lanuvio on a partly dirt and ancient path that follows the terrain's orography from Genzano to Lanuvio. The view over Lake Albano and the surrounding hills will leave you speechless. The Castelli Romani are rich in historical sites and ancient villages that testify to their importance over the centuries.
Colli Albani and Agro Pontino
The second stage of the e-bike tour along the Appia Antica leads to the Colli Albani passing through the towns of Albano Laziale and Lanuvio. The route through the Colli Albani, a hilly area rich in vineyards, olive groves, and medieval villages, is particularly evocative. Along the way, you can admire numerous archaeological sites and historical monuments, such as ancient catacombs, ruins of Roman villas, and funerary mausoleums. Continuing with the e-bike, you'll reach the Agro Pontino area towards Cisterna di Latina. This section of the route is more challenging but full of charm and character. The effort will be rewarded by the beauty of the Lazio countryside and the tranquility of the places. The route along the Appia Antica reconnects to the Via Appia Nuova, passing through Borgo Faiti, where a visit to Foro Appio is recommended, already described by Horace in his satires, and crossing various milestones you'll arrive in joyful Terracina with its historic center.
From Terracina to the Mar Tirreno
The third and fourth stages of the e-bike tour along the Appia Antica reach Terracina, where you'll find the temple of Jupiter Anxur, a particular testimony to the city's ancient history. The ride continues on ancient limestone cobblestones reaching the Appia Nuova through the towns of Monte San Biagio and Fondi. From Fondi, you'll travel perhaps the best-preserved stretch of the Appia Antica, crossing a Roman bridge, tombs, and milestones (pay attention to a closed wooden gate that needs to be crossed with your e-bike). There are multiple panoramic views of the Mar Tirreno along this stretch, and if desired, you can stop at the beach to relax listening to the waves while enjoying local fish-based dishes.
From Fondi to Formia
The last stage of the e-bike tour reaches Itri, a picturesque medieval village where a visit to the medieval castle is recommended. Cycling along narrow streets allows you to immerse yourself in history, transporting your mind and imagination back in time. After visiting with e-bikes, continue on the Appia Antica towards beautiful Formia with its promenade and historic center perched on a hill, its historic sites, and characteristic views. The tour from Rome to Formia along the Appia Antica concludes; for the return journey, taking the train is recommended. In the center of Formia is a train station where you can catch a train every hour back to Rome Termini in 1h30.

It starts from Trescore Cremasco where you can rent electric bikes from the Fratelli Bossi rental point.
The route takes you towards Casaletto Vaprio to continue north and allows you to see, before reaching Capralba, the area of the Quarantine fountain (fontanile di Quarantina).
Continuing to ride on the roads that cross the countryside you will reach Sergnano and then Ricengo. From here you can take a short detour to reach the Lake of Reflections, another unforgettable location of the film of Guadagnino.

Continue south to get to Crema. The gardens of Crema, the historic center, Piazza Duomo: all places where the director's eye has stopped. Pedaling you can arrive in Piazza San Giovanni XXIII to get out of the town along via Macallè. You are about to reach Moscazzano and in particular, the Villa Albergoni where the scenes were shot in the summer house of the protagonist of 'Call me with your name'. While you are here, you can not go any further to admire the Madonna dei Prati Sanctuary.
You are ready to go back along the same road and then turn left towards San Carlo.
Here you continue on the cycle path of the Gronda Nord up to the industrial area of Cremosano and to the santella along the Vaccheli canal you can turn left to continue until Nosadello. After cycling on the long and beautiful track on the dirt road, turn right towards Pandino. In Pandino, in the center of the village, it will be possible to visit the Castle. It dates back to the fourteenth century and was a hunting lodge of the Bernabò family. If you can not visit it, do not miss a souvenir photo in front of the Vittorio Emanuele III monument.
The return road continues among old farmhouses and country villages: pedaling in peace it will be easy to imagine the life of these places even just 50 years ago. You will meet the Cascine Gandini (Casine Gandine in the dialect of Cremasco): it is a fraction of the municipality of Palazzo Pignano. Cascine Gandini is a small agricultural village of ancient origin, belonging to the Cremasco territory and is 1.54 kilometers from the capital city.
Passing from Torlino Vimenrcati you will go along the last stretch of white road immersed in the Cremasca plains passing next to a Cascina and to a Dairy very known in the Territory (Erdi Carioni) with attached products store.
Finally you reach Santo Stefano to return to Trescore Cremasco.
a Crema, in Lombardia, a Treviglio, a Caravaggio
Si parte dal punto di noleggio BikeSquare di Casaleggio Boiro e si raggiunge il Borgo di Lerma. Si prosegue in direzione di Tagliolo Monferrato e prima del ponte sul Piota si svolta a sinistra, in direzione Località Cirimilla. Superata Cascina Cirimilla si prosegue sulla sterrata detta “della Cirimilla” di altissivo valore ambientale e paesaggistico in quanto attraversa interamente il Parco, fino ad arrivare alle Capanne di Marcarolo. Raggiunto il Centro del Parco si può fare una sosta golosa e poi riprendere la strada di ritorno. Il primo tratto è lo stesso dell'andata ma al bivio (siamo nel tratto boscoso) anzichè proseguire a sinistra si mantiene la destra per raggiungere i laghi della Lavagnina, costeggiare il grande lago e poi ritornare sulla sterrata fino a riprendere la strada asfaltata per raggiugere il borgo di Casaleggio Boiro, dove è possibile vedere il Castello utilizzato in mumerore scenografie cinematografiche.

From the Cremona camping you cross the city center with its beautiful Duomo square and using the via Persico cycle path you enter the countryside towards Vescovato on secondary roads and separate cycle paths. The only attention is the overpass after Persichello where you continue on the road.
You will meet a beautiful square in Pescarolo, and a Linen Museum to be contacted for opening only on request. In Gabbioneta a Special Protection Area awaits you consisting of an old oxbow lake, habitat for birds and finally on the banks of the Oglio.
What to see in Ostiano
As soon as you pass the entrance bridge to Ostiano, a nice dirt track path will take you to the parish curch of Torricella, to the Castle of Ostiano Castle of Ostiano and to the Barca Bridge exit with its ancient history although now in steel.
The next stops will be the Pieve di Cornella, the town of Seniga and the Castle of Scandolara Ripa d'Oglio surrounded by a water moat.
Take the road back to Villa Manna Roncadelli and then return to the city with the Brescia Cremona regional cycle path

Un percorso che dal borgo di Buronzo, che con il suo castello consortile domina la Baraggia e le sue risaie, porta in un paesaggio unico, dominato dall'acqua e dalla natura.
Armonie in Corte
Punto di partenza è Armonie in Corte, con il suo giardino emozionale e le sue sale storiche dove consumare una colazione/merenda a base di prodotti del territorio (il riso e i suoi derivati non possono mancare). Il verde della Corte è realizzato seguendo i principi di biodiversità con piantumazioni di arbusti forestali robusti, dalla selezione e raccolta di semi provenienti dai boschi certificati dalla Regione Piemonte. Sfondo sono le pietre del Castello, i ciottoli di fiume, i blocchi di pietra. In questo si inserisce l'arte contemporanea, con il Terzo Paradiso di Michelangelo Pistoletto.
Lungo le vie d'acqua
Lungo la strada Buronzina, si incontra il Nuovo Canale della Baraggia e lo si costeggia, tra risaie e cascine, fino all'incastrone della Mapetta, un'opera di ingegneria idraulica sul cavo San Marco che ben racconta la gestione delle acque operata dal Consorzio di Bonifica della Baraggia Vercellese e Biellese e la sua importanza. Si prosegue lungo il cavo San Marco, fiancheggiando le tese d'acqua utili al ripopolamento avicolo della zona, arrivando al nodo idraulico Valversi (dal nome dell'omonima cascina) dove finisce la Roggia Marchionale. Tutto intorno, sono boschi cedui.
Le opere di ingegneria idraulica sono, insieme alla natura e all'agricoltura, i punti di interesse per eccellenza. Si incontra, per esempio, il sifone della Bartesa, un punto in cui su diversi livelli si incrociano "virtualmente" le acque della Roggia Marchionale e di una fontana naturale che prende il via nel vicino comune di Roasio. Tra boschi e risaie si incontrano laghetti per la pesca, aziende faunistiche venatorie private, ma anche spontanee nidificazioni di cicogne e aree di ripopolamento di uccelli e fauna tipica.
Si attraversa anche una ferrovia, la Santhià-Arona ormai in disuso, per tornare sulla Strada Buronzina e far rientro nel borgo di partenza.

Narzole
Narzole marks the border between the Cuneo plateau and the Langhe. Here the landscape changes: vineyards give way to hazelnut groves, woods and wheat fields. The historic centre, with its parish church dedicated to San Bernardo, is worth a brief visit.
Bene Vagienna
Bene Vagienna is the beating heart of this itinerary. The Augusta Bagiennorum Special Reserve, established in 1993, protects a 213-hectare area rich in Roman archaeological remains. Our tour, suitable for everyone, starts in Spello and following the Subasio road takes us to the castle of Collepino. Collepino, once known as Colle-Lupino or Collepieno, is a charming medieval castle situated on the eastern slopes of Mount Subasio, at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. From its promontory, always kissed by the sun, one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Chiona torrent, the city of Foligno and the Spoletana Valley. St. Francis, in a moment of admiration, said of the Spoletana Valley: ‘Nihil iucundius vidi valle mea spoletana’ - ‘I have seen nothing more beautiful than my Spoletana Valley’.
Continuing along the road that skirts Subasio and passes the enchanting castle of San Giovanni di Collepino, one arrives at Armenzano, the castle perched on a hill that offers a spectacular view of the Nocerine hills and mountains and the green valley of the Anna torrent. Every year in June, the surrounding landscape is covered in the brilliant yellow-gold mantle of flowering broom.
Following the same road, we then reach the tiny and pretty hamlet of Costa di Trex, which from the slopes of Subasio overlooks the Tescio valley and the Marchetto ditch.
The tour then continues in the direction of Assisi, where a stop is obligatory due to the countless beauties and sightseeing opportunities that this place, one of the most popular and well-known in the entire Umbria region, offers visitors.
From Assisi we then take the route back to Spello via the magnificent Via degli Ulivi, passing enchanting views and small jewels of local history and culture such as the Maestà del Mascione (or Mascicone). This scenic route halfway between Assisi and Spello, known for its numerous olive groves, offers an evocative journey immersed in nature.

Il tour autoguidato in ebike al Monte Tuscolo e del monte salomone è un itinerario intenso e appagante, ricco di panorami mozzafiato dei Castelli Romani e della città di Roma. È possibile visitare il parco archelogico del Tuscolo. L'area archelogica è visitabile con gli orari che troverai nella descrizione del punto di interesse. Nelle vicinanze dell'area archeologica ci sono delle zone pic-nic attrezzate. Proseguendo il percorso si prima alla splendida fattoria La Collina degli asinelli dove poter fare un pic nic tra la natura incontaminata e delgi spendidi animale .A seguire si arriva alla chiesa di San Silvestro . Scendendo di livello attraverso numerosi tornanti si attraversa la tuscolana e tra i boschi di Rocca di Papa tornando al punto di partenza dell'itinerario .
In case of bad weather or if you want to avoid crossing the Punta Pizzo Park on a sandy trait path, immediately after Marina di Mancaversa you can opt for a variant of 4 km on the littoral.

Partendo da Armonie in Corte con una buona colazione/merenda a base di prodotti tipici locali, si pedala lungo la strada per San Giacomo Vercellese dopo aver puntato l'attenzione sui nidi di cicogne che si trovano subito all'inizio del percorso. Si costeggia quindi il Circuito di Balocco (o più correttamente Centro Sperimentale Balocco) un complesso di circuiti automobilistici costruito nel 1962 dall'Alfa Romeo e oggi di proprietà di Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Il Canale Cavour
Si prosegue quindi in direzione Villarboit tra le risaie del riso DOP di Baraggia fino a incrociare il Canale Cavour, costruito a supporto dell'agricoltura (in particolare della coltura del riso) che trae origine dal Po a Chivasso (TO) e termina scaricandosi nel Ticino nel comune di Galliate (NO). La sua lunghezza totale è pari a quasi 83 km ed è il terzo canale italiano per lunghezza, dopo il canale Emiliano Romagnolo ed il canale Villoresi. All'imbocco ha una portata massima di 110 m³/s, che ad est del Sesia si riduce ad 85 m³/s. Il nome ricorda Camillo Benso di Cavour, che ne fu promotore.
Con una deviazione verso Albano Vercellese, pedalando tra le risaie fino a lambire il Parco Naturale delle Lame del Sesia, si riattraversa il Canale Cavour raggiungendo il comune di Arborio, dove agli affreschi dell'oratorio di San Sebastiano raccontano di tradizioni artistiche e contadine molto antiche, il centro mantiene la forma, almeno in parte, degli antichi ricetti medievali e gli stucchi raccontano le vicende settecentesche della parrocchiale di San Martino. Ma il nome stesso del paese, che deriva dal cognome della famiglia medievale vercellese che aveva possedimenti terrieri qui, racconta il legame forte con il riso.

L'azienda fonda la sua tradizione sull’esperienza di tre generazioni di agricoltori succedutisi nella coltivazione del riso. Ben ancorata alla esperienza del passato, si avvale però di moderne tecnologie per la coltivazione, essiccazione e stoccaggio del risone prodotto, nel pieno rispetto dei requisiti standard di prevenzione e sicurezza. La Valle d'Itria, nella Murgia Sud-Orientale, è una delle aree di maggior attrazione turistica della Puglia. La magia dei trulli e dei muretti a secco la rendono unica ed irripetibile; tra i suoi borghi Cisternino e Locorotondo sono annoverati tra i borghi più belli d'Italia. Il tour si percorre facilmente con l'utilizzo di ebike touring ed è quindi adatto per ciclisti di qualsiasi età. Si parte da Martina Franca, dal punto noleggio, attraverso panoramiche strade asfaltate ma poco trafficate si raggiunge la ciclovia dell'acquedotto, meta preferita dei cicloturisti; la si percorre per un breve tratto e poi si raggiunge Cisternino, attraversando il caratteristico centro storico. Breve sosta su una terrazza panoramica con affaccio sulla Valle d'Itria e ripartenza con destinazione verso il centro storico di Locorotondo. Si conclude il tour con una sosta in una delle più importanti masserie della zona per una degustazione di prodotti tipici e rientro al punto noleggio.

Dalla frazione di Brengon (dove noleggiate le bici) seguire la strada asfaltata sino ad incontrare il bivio per Chamois: trascurarlo e proseguire lungo la stradina fino a raggiungere un parcheggio che si trova dopo un ampio tornante a sinistra. Risalire la strada che porta al Col Pilaz nell’abetaia che ogni tanto regala interessanti scorci sul Monte Zerbion e sul Mont Tantané. Superato un tratto di strada leggermente più ripido il tracciato prosegue in un tratto quasi rettilineo, siamo sullo spartiacque con il comune di Chamois ed ogni tanto, tra i rami degli abeti, si intravede l’inconfondibile sagoma del di sua Maestà il CERVINO.
Proseguire sulla poderale che propone una breve discesa sino ad incontrare un bivio: si trascura la strada che prosegue diritta davanti a noi e si svolta a destra continuando la discesa sino al Col Pilaz (1975m).
Riprendere la strada a ritroso e al bivio (che abbiamo incontrato prima) seguire a destra le indicazioni per Chamois. La discesa è bella e pedalabile e si ricongiunge con la pista poderale che porta al caratteristico paese di Chamois (circa un venti minuti).
Il rientro si sviluppa tutto sulla famosa passeggiata La Magdeleine - Chamois e non presenta particolari difficoltà.

A horse-drawn ring between the high and the low Formazza valley, will be an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the suggestive discourses that welcomed the walsers when they arrived from the nearby Canton Valais (CH) in search of new pastures. A leap in the past, exploring one of the most suggestive waterfalls of Europe chastened into one of the least known valleys of Italy.
Attention : The path is only partly walkable with the bike trailer for children. In the stretch between the locations "Ponte" and "Under Frua" it is necessary to use the carrable road if you want to opt out of this solution. Even for all those who are not familiar with the MTB, it is ill-advised to move from the cycling between the two traits above, because the ramping up of the ramps and the close back could create difficulties.
What to see, Formazza-the Fracks
All rich in history and charm, take the time to explore the typical walser dwellings immersed in the greenery of the meadows and rich in colors in each season.
Antillone [ Puneiga ], fraction no longer inhabited, is a destination of walks to reach the nearby Alpeans of Vova and Salecchio.
Brendo [ In Dä Brendu ], "in the woods downed with the fire", is a tiny agglomeration of houses collected around the Chiesetta of the Madonna del Carmine. From here, the Valley shrinks and is steeped in steep. In the vicinity lies the Central Giacinto Motta that exploits the hydroelectric basins of Morasco, Vannino, Sruer, Toggia and Kastel for the production of Energy Electricity.
Canza [ Früduwald ] and Grovella [ Gurfalu ], "woods of the waterfall" and "area of the boulders". They are two fractions between them close to where numerous ancient dwellings in larice built by the Walsers are counted. In Canza L' abate was partially destroyed by an avalanche in 1951 that caused numerous casualties.
Church [ in der mattu ], "located between the meadows", is the seat of the Formazza Parish. The fraction is made up of a small agglomeration of houses that gathers around the Saints Bernardo and Carlo's Parrochial. In the fraction is also the ancient Walser Cemetery with the wooden crosses, equal for each deceased.
Fondovalle [ Schtafulwald ], "court for the cattle surrounded by the woods", or "forest of the enclosure," is the first village adagiarised on the afflicted plain on the "Casse" cliff. Originally the village was wooden but it was destroyed by an immense avalanche in 1863 and rebuilt in masonry.
Foppiano [ Undrum Stalda ], is the first of the Valley and is inhabited all year round. Within the fraction there is the Oratorio dedicated to St. John and typical wooden constructions.
Frua [ Uf Der Frütt ], location famous for winter tourism and for the Cascade del Toce.
Ponte [ Zumschtäg ], is the heart of the Valley and home to City Hall. The name of the Fration refers to the presence of the only bridge on the River Toce. In Fraction there is also a school for the children of the elementary school where the old Walser dialect is still learned. At the end of the country, towards the Brendo fraction, lies the oldest formaze house, the Casa Forte, ancient home of the amhand, the head of the walser colony. Here, too, there is a dedicated Oratorio in Santa Caterina. Inaugurated on November 25, 1661, the church was expanded in 1884. The last renovation dates back to 1986-1987.
San Michele [ Tuffald ], "deep woods," the woods close to the fraction were devastated by a large fire in 1765. The landscaper is home to an Fund Sci Centre, with a 12 km runway ring that runs all the flat part of the Valley, from Ponte to Fondovalle. At the location are also two religious buildings : Church of St. Michael and St. Lucia built in 1663.
Under Frua [ Unter Der Frütt ], "under the Cascade" of the Toce. There is a cloth and two large structures predominantly used by the Salesians for summer gatherings and various gatherings.
Valdo (Wald), "woods", ancient home of the Municipality of Formazza now moved to Ponte. In The Fraction is present the chairlift of the Sagersboden that leads to the top of the Pista of the Campions so defined for its beauty and typology.
Focus, the Walsers
The Walsers (contraction of the German Walliser, i.e., vallese, inhabitant of canton Valais) are a population of Germanic origin that inhabits the alpine regions around the Mount Rosa Massive. Whose language is defined as Titsch, Töitschu or Titzschu, terms related to German Deutsch.
Established in the Valley of the Goms, during the centuries XII and XIII, Walser settlers from the high Valais settled in different locations of the Alpine arch in Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and France. The history of the Walser people in the south of the alps begins in the middle of the thirteenth century, for progressive migrations, developing over time the allocated settlements that we know today.
Their peculiarity was that of having given birth to a model of colonizing high quotas occupying and transforming abandoned alpeses. The Val Formazza represented the entrance door of the Walsers, from here they transitioned and colonized the Alpine arch on the Italian side, whose first stable settlements stood beyond the 1,800 mt.s.l.m. Historical resuming in costume of the journey that unites Bern to Domodossola, a walk in multiple stages during which the journey is relocated to the teaching of tradition. A great way of communication that already 600 years ago, through the Gries Pass, at 2479 m of the quota between the Val Formazza and the Upper Valais, constituted the most direct route between the Lombard Plain and central Switzerland. From Milan to Bern, from the Mediterranean to the plains of Central Europe, they transitioned men, goods, ideas. It was a commercial street, a caravaniera traveled from long rows of mule loads of goods. From the north they went down cattle, skins and cheeses (the "sbrinz" of the Oberland Bernese), but also luxury products such as the precious crystals worked by the monks of Engelberg destined for Italian courts. From the south, the cloths and lust lumps and the wine of Ossola, exported to the court of France.
Focus, the Orrids of Uriezzo
A small canyon located in the municipality of Premia. In the course of the last glaciation (finished about 12,000 years ago) in the present Valle Antigorio and Formazza was the Ghisteel del Toce that with the passage of time and with the help of the torrents at its base eroded the rock by going to form this particular natural spectacle. The tortuous cunics and the throats that it is possible to admire today were formed once the glacier has disappeared. The draining of the various glacial streams has left room for a real canyon that you can visit on foot today. The phenomenon of erosion has created a very rare natural landscape in the Alps. The water force has made up a series of large subcircular cavities separated by narrow and tortuous cunicles whose walls are covered with grooves, volutes and niches.
Focus, Piero Portaluppi-Architect
was one of the most important architects and urbanists of the first half of the ' 900 Italian. Although he has operated predominantly in northern Italy, and in particular for the high bourgeoisie meneghine, he has a real revolution in the way of thinking about the architecture of public and private spaces. Over the course of his career he has carried out projects in a number of areas : not only palaces and residential villas, but also hydroelectric power stations-in which he applied architectural styles more related to historical construction than to industrial-funerary newsrooms, exhibition pavilions, hotels and much more.
Focus, the Formaggi of the Val d' Ossola
Among the cheeses of the Val d' Ossola a place of honor certainly occupies the Bettelmatt, the "cheese of the Gods," produced in seven alpeses of the Antigory valleys and Formazza at an altitude of between 1800 and 2400 meters. The Bettelmatt is produced in the summer, and it is a cheese that nods the great tradition of breed breeding of brown breed. Obtained from the milk of one milking, worked raw and whole, therefore with two daily work, it is a true triumph of perfumes, aromas and unmistakable flavours from the aromatics pastures of the Alps Lepontine.
The maturation of the Bettelmatt can vary from a few months to more years, but only after at least 90 days of seasoning the aromas and perfumes reach the height of the intensity. Of yellow gold or clowns, thick and bronze with maturation, intense, prolonged and deep, aromatic, never trivial flavour.
Other characteristic cheese is Ossolan : a semi-fat or fatty cheese from the delicate, herbaceous, more intense and prolonged flavour in the course of the affinity, used as a dish as a stant and also in the preparation of the traditional potato gnocchi, chestnut flour and pumpkin, or in the poles conce, or still with rye bread to form the traditional oxolan merenda.

Stage 1 - Novello
The first leg allows you to visit Novello. You can stop for a coffee and discover the beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the Langhe.
From Novello you take the Ravera road that offers one of the most beautiful views in the area.
Stage 2 - Monforte
Monforte is pretty on the plain, but it is worth the climb to the top of the village where there is the amphitheater and the giant bench. I assure you that the view is worth the effort of the climb.
From Monforte take the Bussia road, a semi-flat, even shady road where you can even find some olive trees.
Stage 3 - Perno
Perno is a hamlet of Monforte (not to be confused with Sommariva Perno, which is elsewhere), very pretty. A minor place with nice restaurants and a spectacular view of the Langhe. Arriving in Perno you see on the left a small church among the vineyards that has great charm
Stage 4 - Roddi
Passing through back roads you reach Paciarini and then Roddi. It is worth stopping to eat at the Crota and visit the castle home of the l Truffle Hub.
Stage 5 - Verduno
Verduno is a pleasant village where you can taste Pelaverga, a wine produced only here in the Langa. Don't miss the panoramic terrace. Recommended Lunch: Bercau or Ca del Re.
For sleeping always Ca del Re, Real Castello or Lo Speziale.
Stage 6 - La Morra
At La Morra I recommend climbing the Belvedere. It is worth it. Don't miss a glass at Uve.
Stage 7 - Return to Novello
Before returning the bike, stop by Novello to taste Nas-cetta the native white wine that you can only try here.

Si parte dal punto di noleggio Bike Square di Faenza e si attraversa il centro abitato caratterizzato dalla bella piazza e dai molti edifici neoclassici. Adagiata ai piedi dell'Appennino, Faenza si presta benissimo come base per escursioni sulle prime colline. Una bella strada subito fuori l'abitiato di Faenza porta nella valle del Senio con le sue viste sui vigneti e i coltivi. Iniziamo a salire lungo le pendici di Monte Rontana godendo appieno delle vedute spettacolari sui calanchi pliocenici del Parco della Vena del Gesso Romagnola. Il percorso continua in quota fino alle vecchie cave di gesso di Brisighella, ora parco attrezzato, e alla Rocca dei Veneziani, fortificazione del 1310 voluta dai Manfredi signori di Faenza. Una breve discesa ci porta a Brisighella, uno dei borghi piu' belli d'Italia, ideale per una sosta e una visita alla rinomata strada degli asini. Una breve deviazione porta alla Pieve del Tho, spendido esempio di architettura romanica. Una facile pedalata tra i vigneti della valle del Lamone ci riporta in vista di Faenza dove, tempo permettendo, si puo' visitare il Museo Internazionale della Ceramica.
