Our pedal assisted bicycles will take you to the wonderful heart of this land, full of surprises and breathtaking landscapes.
From the Big Bench of “Bricco Lu”, you can enjoy a 360 degree view (or almost) of the whole surrounding landscape. In the distance, the Alps, with their perennial glaciers, will be the masters. All around you, you will see the immensity of the vineyards and hazelnut groves that represent the real flagship of Monferrato Area.
How to visit Montegrosso d’Asti
Montegrosso preserves an ancient medieval village located on the top of the hill. Right in the ancient center, the feudal castle stands out imposingly, built in 1134, a true work of engineering for the time.
Our journey starts from the “Enoteca dei Colli Astiani”, a reference point in the area for over 20 years for all lovers of good wine.
The route will wind between the hills of Monferrato and Langhe through splendid scenery.
You pedal almost immediately on a slope to reach the "crest" of the surrounding hills and enjoy the best landscapes.
Once you reach the border with Castagnole delle Lanze you will reach the Big Bench of Bricco Lu, from which you will have a memorable view of the surrounding landscape.
Calosso
Continuing the ride "on the crest" you will arrive at the ancient village of Calosso, also perched on a hill dominating the surrounding landscape.
This town is made famous by the Rapulè Festival which takes place every year on the third weekend of October, when the harvest comes to an end.
During this event it is possible to wander through the streets of the historic center tasting the typical dishes of Piedmontese cuisine, combined with sensational wine tastings.
In Calosso, the fortified wall that houses the ancient medieval castle certainly stands out.
This imposing structure has had a rather troubled history over the centuries and has undergone numerous destructions and alterations.
Agliano Terme and Retourn
Continuing along the route you will reach the town of Agliano Terme, a town famous for its wine landscapes and, as the name itself says, for its small spa.
You will reach the highest point of the town, characterized by a large square with an excellent view and the majestic tower of the ancient castle.
The castle of Agliano Terme was destroyed in the first half of the seventeenth century during the struggle between the Duke of Savoy and the Spaniards for the succession of Monferrato.
Today the tower remains of the mighty castle, which can be visited and owned by the aqueduct.
The top of the building is a privileged vantage point for observing the hills of the Province of Asti.
Going down towards the valley you will pass in front of the thermal station.
In 1770 a spring with a particular smell was discovered in a field of Agliano.
Subsequent chemical-physical analyzes confirmed the presence of sulfur and other substances in what the locals called "rotten water".
Right in that place, a hotel was built that began to welcome tourists right away and, later, everything became a spa.
Continuing along this flat road, the route will bring you back to the “Enoteca dei Colli Astiani” from where the tour started.

You pedal between "pajare" and dry stone walls, peasant architectures that have defined the very identity of the Salento countryside, protecting vegetable gardens and olive trees.
The inland on the hills, just a little above sea level, gives way to Gallipoli for a long ride along the seaside to Torre dell'Alto, a stage for magical sunsets on the cliff between the green of Porto Selvaggio Park and the blue of the Ionian Sea.
The starting point of this route is Nardò. Pedaling, you pass through the municipalities of: Galatone, Sannicola, Chiesanuova, Alezio, Gallipoli, Rivabella, Lido Conchiglie, Santa Maria al Bagno, Santa Caterina di Nardò, Cenate.
The route mainly develops on asphalt roads (about 90%) with low traffic; in the summer months of July and August, the coastal road is instead characterized by heavy traffic.
What are 'pajare'?
Pajare are ancient rural buildings typical of the Apulia region. These structures, dating back to prehistoric times and used until the 19th century, represent a unique example of traditional rural architecture.
Pajare are entirely built in dry stone, without the use of mortar, and have a conical or trullo-shaped structure, with a dome roof resembling a beehive. This particular shape was designed to ensure better resistance to the weather and greater durability over time.
Originally used as temporary shelters for farmers during working hours in the fields, pajare have often been restored and transformed into accommodations for tourists who want to experience a unique stay immersed in nature and the history of Apulia.

Our tour, suitable for experienced cyclists who master the bike well, starts from the upper part of Spello and the ancient Bregno spring and then continues along a pleasant path beside a section of the Roman aqueduct path. To the right we will have a view from above of the impressive Sanctuary of San Girolamo and further along a dirt path we will arrive at the remains of the ancient and fascinating Abbey of Santa Maria di Vallegloria, where you can admire the striking panorama and enjoy the tranquility of the place.
Continuing your itinerary, venture into the olive groves and follow the path that will lead you through breathtaking views to the village and castle of Collepino. A stop here is a must, amidst the picturesque and quiet alleys rich in history and luminous beauty that dominate the Umbrian valley.
Continuing your journey, you can admire splendid panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside. Continue along the panoramic road that climbs towards Monte Pasano and, if you wish, you can catch a glimpse of the beauty of the sanctuary of the Madonna di Colpernieri and the lush natural surroundings among the trees.
Passing through forests and ancient paths, you will pass the charming rural villages of Ravignano and Liè and arrive in the hamlet of Belfiore, where you can observe characteristic wooden houses dating back to the 1996 earthquake. From here, your journey will take you to the Church of St. John the Baptist in San Giovanni Profiamma, where you can admire ancient works of art and be enchanted by its evocative atmosphere.

La pedalata ha inizio con la visita del centro storico di Monforte che è uno dei Borghi Più Belli D'Italia, l'antico borgo arroccato sulla collina offre scorci suggestivi su quella che un tempo era la vita nel paese.
L'antico anfiteatro e la panchina gigante di Monforte sono facilmente raggiungibili con le bici elettriche.
Roddino
Il percorso prosegue in direzione di Roddino, piccolo comune della Langa del Barolo, lungo il percorso faranno capolino piccoli boschetti e le viti lasciano via via il posto al nocciolo. La nocciola tonda gentile delle Langhe è uno dei prodotti principi delle Langhe.
Serralunga D'Alba
La pedalata prosegue con dolci saliscendi in direzione di Serralunga D'Alba, siamo nella zona cuore di produzione del Barolo, vino principe di questi luoghi. Con le ebike sarà facile e divertente salire al borgo storico e raggiungere il belvedere di Serralunga D'Alba ai piedi del maestoso castello.
Castiglione Falletto
Si riparte in sella alla bici in direzione di Castiglione Falletto, si raggiunge la cittadina dopo una bella e rilassante pedalata immersi nei paesaggi collinari attorniati dai colori e profumi della vite. Vivi an 'Experience immersed in nature, between breathtaking woods, unique natural springs and unique landscapes of the Pollino National Park.
L 'The whole area of the Caramola trail runs along the N-E side of the mount and is formed by a long set of bush tops with a few small "windows" from the breathtaking panorama.
We cross the Rubbio-oriented reserve, " passing through some ferries called Lake D 'Erba and Lake del Pesce.

Starting from the fountain of Placa Reial (city center), where you will meet your guide, our electric bike tour will bring you through the narrow streets of the old city, in the Medieval Districts of Gothic and Born.
Then you will head towards the modern area of Barcelona, where you will immerse yourself in the Catalan Modernism, exploring the amazing buildings designed by Gaudí, Casa Batlló, Casa Milá, and the impressive Basilica of the Sagrada Familia.
At the Temple, you will get a SKIP-THE-LINE access to the Sagrada for the inside tour of the Cathedral. Inside, you can take a tour by yourself or be guided by the audioguide in your own language.

This ebike tour in South Sardinia will allow you to discover the secrets of the ancient mining routes of the Arburese and the Costa Verde. The path starts from Montevecchio, crosses the ancient mining village of Ingurtosu and reaches the beach of Piscinas. From here, the route continues along the coast and crosses the touristic villages of Portu Maga and Gutturu e' Flumini to then trace back to the mountains.
What to see in Ingurtosu
Ingurtosu is an ancient abandoned mining settlement that was inhabitated by the miners during the last century. Today it presents itself as a ghost village immersed in a suggestive and out of time atmosphere. Following the Provincial Road 66 in the direction of the village Pitzinurri, carrying out a small detour from the original path, you could admire the Palazzo della Direzione della Miniera di Ingurtosu (Palace of the Directorate of the Mine of Ingurtosu) and its iconic arch that embraces the road; the Church of Santa Barbara, from which you could take amazing panoramic photos to the sea; the Ex Ospedale (Former Hospital) of Ingurtosu. Going back, you can admire the ancient houses of the miners. Once you are out of the town you will find the ancient Pozzo Gal (Shaft Gal, within which a multimedia museum is present) and, at the base of the valley, the majestic Laveria Brassey of Naracauli (Brassery Washery of Naracauli).
What to see in Piscinas
Piscinas is probably the most famous and iconic beach of the Southwest of Sardinia and the Costa Verde. Here you will find one of the most impressive dunal complexes in Europe that reaches 100m in height : the Dune of Piscinas. The landscape will leave you breathless and you will seem to have been catapulted into the Sahara desert. We recommend you a walk on the dunes but we remind you that it is absolutely forbidden to transit on the same with means of transport. On the dunes you can also admire the typical Mediterranean vegetation and the characteristic ginepro coccolone (cuddly juniper), which will show you bent because of the strong of the wind of the Maestrale that frequently spins the area. With luck, you could also encounter some exemplary of Sardinian deer. At the centre of the beach you will finally find an ancient mining structure converted into a hotel and some seaside establishments where you could cool down and admire the sea.
What to see in Portu Maga and Gutturu e ' Flumini
The path continues along the Costa Verde and crosses the two villages of Portu Maga and Gutturu e' Flumini. Along the road you can admire numerous beaches and calettes with crystal clear water such as Su Pistoccu (rock seabed), Campu e ' Sali (thick sand grains and rock seabed) and the beach of Gutturu e' Flumini (finest and sandy seabed). The last one is also bounded by a very ancient limestone wall (Punta Calada Bianca) which prides itself on spectacular panoramic photos.
During the last part of your path, on the way to Montevecchio, you will see the Monte Arcuentu (Mount Arcuentu, it is said that its shape reminisces the profile of Napoleon Bonaparte). This is actually an ancient volcano whose top which is reachable in about one hour and a half of walk. For the most willing, we recommend its climb (of medium-low difficulty in the first trait, challenging in the final part. It is about 500m of altitude difference) that will be repaid from a breathtaking panorama: from its top you will see the area from the Costa Verde, the bay of Oristano and part of the centre of Sardinia.

The following text and the linked "hikes" routes are part of the Gallo Nero Bike Day event on last 20th September 2020. Together with the organising body we decided to let the routes be available all year round, hoping that more and more people decide to cycle on our roads. If you want to visit wineries, restaurants and businesses who joined the event, please call in advance because special menus and prices and opening times may vary without notification.
The 8th edition of the Gallo Nero Granfondo race has been postponed to 2021. This year, bicycle enthusiasts will not take part in the usual Gallo Nero race on September 20th, rather they will have the opportunity to embark on a special ‘food and wine’ cycling tour for the day. Bike aficionados will be able to test their skills on either of the two Granfondo courses starting from any point of the itinerary. Whilst enjoying a ride through natural scenic beauty, they can stop along the way for a visit to the Chianti Classico cellars - many of which will be open for guided tours and tastings - or take a longer break in one of the several restaurants near the route, delighting in dishes specifically created for the occasion and dedicated to cyclists. Several Gallo Nero statues will mark the path and represent the focal point around which musical entertainment and other performances will take place.

Path of undoubted naturalistic and historical value, at the same time rich in charm and evocation. Along the way it is possible to visit several vineyards where you can participate in a characteristic tasting of the upper Frascati (booking is required). You pass by the streets of the centre of Grottaferrata by admiring the spelndida Abbey of San Nile. The itinerary follows the ancient route of the Latin way, along which it is possible to witness a pleasant sight of Castel Savelli and its ancient walls, of course in addition to the fantastic view of the city of Rome. Going back to Frascati with its gardens and Along the avenues it is possible to eat at the typical fraschettes of the Romani Castles.
This itinerary is intense but very satisfyng, there are breth-taking panoramas of castelli romani and Rome. You can visit the Tuscolo's archeological site. You can visit the site from may to september( 9:30-19:30), in march and november(9:30-13:30) and in april and october(9:30-18:30). You have to take a group prenotation in january, in february and in december. There are some stocked pic-nic areas near the archeological site. Going on with the itinerary you will reach the San Silvestro church and Monte Compatri. Going down you will arrive in Rocca Priora through several bends. Coming back to the starting point you will travel along the Molara street and Pratone street.
Departure from the rental point in the castle of Petriolo, which definitely deserves a walk between the alleys, the churches and the cloths on the hills (on all that from St. Martin's Square).
It is set out from the castle, passing under the Torrione (Porta Rondella or Lu Torriò as it is said from these parts) dating back to the early 1500, to continue along a downhill road and arrive towards the scenic and intranquil Via delle Grazie, where you can stop to admire the view over the hills.
It is then continued along the paved road that leads all 'Fiastra abbey, to then make an intimate and panoramic detour along a tract of gravel road and a short dirt stretch.
At this point you go down, again in the paved and untransitioned road, towards the Urbisaglia Archaeological Park (which we recommend you to contact in advance for the visit). If you decide to support here, you will also be able to charge (but you will not need it).
The next stop is l 'Abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra, which is reached by the easy dirt trail that is costing the Fiastra River. Here, too, it is possible to make a stop to rest and make a snack with the magnificent products of local farmers or in the bars and restaurants present in the 'area. I inform you that in the antistante area l 'Abbey and in the antistanti meadows it is not possible l 'access to the bikes, which you can take to your hand in the forbidden zone.
We are now embarking on the return to the Petriolo borough, following first a zig zag path near the woods and then returning to tarmac.
At this point you can decide to continue along the trace, which proposes a detour (with possibility of soak in the cellar), or continue along the same stretch of road made all 'gone.
The tour is about 28 kilometers long, or a pair less without the last deviation.

This is a nice tour starting from the ebike rental point in Bolsena and reaching Civita di Bagnoregio.
This is a small village rich of history starting about 2500 years ago.Scoprirai di più di un borgo, un piccolo scrigno con dentro una storia lunga 2500 anni.
Earthquakes, wind and erosion have caused the valley to erode making the village more and more isolated.
The erosion is continuing in recent years and this will unfortunately lead to the slow disappearance of the village.

I Piani Resinelli sono adagiati su una grande sella ai piedi del Gruppo delle Grigne. Dalla loro posizione privilegiata si può godere di un’incomparabile vista che dominando la pianura sottostante, il lago di Lecco ed i bacini dell'Alta Brianza arriva fino al Monte Rosa. Il Massiccio delle Grigne è raggiungibile attraverso diversi percorsi con partenza dai Piani Resinelli. I Piani Resinelli toccano la quota media di 1300 metri sul livello del mare, sono raggiungibili in pochi minuti di automobile, noi con le nostre e-bike partendo da Malgrate dobbiamo prevedere non meno di un'oretta e mazza per la sola ascesa. Il percorso é interamente su asfalto, e nel tratto sino all'abitato di Ballabio dobbiamo considerare che si pedalerè su una strada parecchio trafficata, ( soprattutto nel fine settimana) mentre nella parte successiva la strada diventa più stretta e meno caotica.

Loop cycloescursion in ebike between boroughs and hills surrounding the Abbadia di Fiastra that begins and ends in Petriolo (MC), the borgo uncasted between the valley of Fiastra and the Cremone Valley, one of the jewels of the Marca Maceratese.
From the plaque of Petriolo borgo, where the view ranges from the sights of the Sibillini and the Gran Sasso d' Italia to the Adriatic sea and the gaze is lost on a myriad landscapes on the necks, are part of the e-bike to immerse yourself in the experience of the sweet marchigian hills, in the saliva between olive groves, vines and colors that the seasons know to give away from these parts.
From a low-transitional road, you descend to the valley of the Fiastrone where you percolate a flat tract of gravel in the Selva of the Abbadia of Fiastra which, among centuries-old oaks, leads to the Cistercian Monastery of XII sec. Here it is possible to visit the church and the monastery, make a restorative soak immersed in the nature and taste the typical products offered in the peasant shops.
Constating the river Fiastrone, pedaling soothing in nature, then goes on to the Archaeological Park of Urbs Salvia, where it is possible to admire the Roman amphitheatre.
In the path it cannot be missed a stop in the cellar for the tasting of the native wines Passerina, Pecorino, Red Piceno and more, and the tasting of the famous Ciauscolo (the delicious spreadable salami typical of this area).
Marca Maceratese, nella Marca Maceratese, a Macerata, a Petriolo
Climb aboard your rental ebike in Chiusano San Domenico, in the heart of Irpinia, and scale the summit of Monte Tuoro to gain a privileged view of Irpinia.
If we advise you to rent an e-bike to explore Monte Tuoro, it is because it is one of the most beautiful mountains in the province of Avellino. Its special position will give you unforgettable breathtaking views and the variety of fauna and flora that populate it will make your ebike excursion unforgettable.
Monte Tuoro is a Site of Community Interest (SCI) and part of the Monti Picentini Regional Park.
It is an out-and-back route that includes the same itinerary. In addition to asphalt, the wheels of your ebike will pass over dusty or muddy (depending on the season) trails and wonderful gravel sections. Therefore, also due to some challenging uphill sections (in some places you will touch 15% gradient), this route is not suitable for pedal-assisted city bikes.
Please note: in many of the areas you will pass through, your mobile phone will not have coverage!
We therefore advise you to rent a Trekking ebike or, even better, to opt for the rental of a Focus Full Suspension e-MTB.
The starting point of the GPS track we are proposing is the e-bike hire point in Chiusano San Domenico, which is located in the centre of the village and is therefore a very easy reference point to locate.
However, if you prefer to start from the ebike rental point located at the Ciclostazione Avellino (Contrada San Lorenzo 18, Atripalda). add the AB/BA route (16.5 km) to this track to reach the bike rental point in Chiusano San Domenico.
This trail can be lengthened or shortened as desired. Therefore, feel free to contact us to let us know your time and/or fitness needs: we will be happy to customise this path so that it perfectly suits your requirements.
Let's start!
Mount your bike and head for the upper part of the town. In the midst of the houses you will catch a glimpse of the ancient castle of Chiusano di San Domenico and, as you tackle the first few ramps, you will immediately understand what kind of day awaits you. The effort, however, will always be repaid by incredible views and unforgettable emotions.
The first 5 km will all be uphill, but since the entire GPS track is about 25 km, if you don't want to struggle, increase the power of your ebike: there's no danger of running out of battery! In any case, you will have plenty to distract you: the views and lush greenery will fill your eyes and mind.
When you come close to a hamlet (an accommodation facility not in operation at the time of writing), it means that the climb is coming to an end. Look for the best spot to take a souvenir photo of this day, choosing between a nature-themed background or a shot from above of Chiusano, Avellino, Montevergine and the Parthenio Park.
From here on, 3.5 km of flat land await you to be enjoyed. Listen to the silence and appreciate the solitude. The only people you might bump into are the Chiusanesi who go up the mountain for their farming activities or a few other cyclists.
At a certain point, when the navigator tells you to turn slightly right, say goodbye to the asphalt. A gravel section begins, which is a prelude to the most beautiful and exciting stretch of the day. Centuries-old beech trees, chestnut trees, luxuriant ferns, gravel, turkey oaks, mountain maples: all the way to the summit you will literally be immersed in nature. Thanks to the dense vegetation, the temperature is cool in summer and cold in winter, so make sure you are dressed appropriately.
Gather all possible details and glimpses with your eyes, but if you see something that interests you, better make a stop. In some sections the dirt road is challenging and deserves to be tackled carefully.
At a certain point the wheels of your ebike will return to asphalt and the climb will become challenging again.
When you get about 10 km from the start, you may find the road closed by a gate: don't worry! Open it and continue on your way, but don't forget to close it again after your passage! This is a boundary used by farmers to delimit the pastures of the cows that live in this montangna.
From here on, another couple of kilometres of steep ascent await you on a not particularly well maintained asphalt road with some notable bends. These are the last efforts. A few hairpin bends in quick succession welcome you to the summit of Monte Tuoro.
By the time you reach the radio antennas, you will be exactly 1,432 metres above sea level. Not bad, especially when you think that you started from only 700 metres: congratulations!

The road back to Chiusano San Domenico is exactly the same. Be careful going downhill and remember to close the gate as you pass. Take the opportunity to look at the landscapes from a different point of view than on the way out.

Si parte dalla piazza di Greve in Chianti proseguendo per un breve tratto sulla strada Chiantigiana S.R. 222, dopodiché si svolta a sinistra seguendo la direzione per il borgo di Lamole, uno dei punti più alti in cui viene coltivato il vino Chianti Classico e dove sono ancora visibili i così detti vigneti terrazzati che rappresentano uno dei metodi di coltivazione più antichi.
Dalla Piazza di Lamole si prosegue a destra, raggiungendo la via che vi condurrà al borgo di Panzano in Chianti, una tipica strada bianca toscana contornata da vigneti e oliveti. Una volta giunti a Panzano in Chianti, grazioso insediamento con botteghe tipiche artigiane e punti degustazione, attraversando il centro storico si prosegue in direzione di Montefioralle, borgo fortificato medievale, che vanta la sua presenza anche nella Guida dei Borghi più Belli d’Italia, dalla strada di Montefioralle si tornerà nuovamente nel centro di Greve in Chianti, concludendo l’anello della durata di circa 25km.
