Information
Description
In 1878 the Earl Paolo di Saint Robert, 63 years old, goes living to a country house in Castagnole delle Lanze (in the province of Asti). In these years he discovers his passion for entomology. There are tales recounting he used to pay kids bringing him insects. He accumulated a huge collection, wisely catalogued, of insects, mostly beetles.
In 1880, he orders the building of a 14 metres (46 ft) tower, where you can see all the Alps chain from.
