BikeSquare Lunigiana is a cooperative made up of tourism professionals, tour guides, and environmental experts. It was created to provide high-quality tourism services to tourists, schools, companies, travel agencies, tour operators, public bodies, and institutions.
Lunigiana is a region rich in history, culture, and nature, perfect for exploring by bike. Renting an e-bike in Pontremoli, a medieval village located in the center of Lunigiana, you can choose from different routes that will take you to discover enchanting landscapes, picturesque villages, and sites of historical and cultural interest.
A few kilometers from Pontremoli, stands the Piagnaro Castle, a 12th-century medieval fortification that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding valley. Inside the castle is the Museum of Lunigiana Stele Statues, which houses a unique collection of stele statues, sculptural artifacts from the prehistoric and Roman eras.
Continuing on your e-bike in a northerly direction, you will come across the village of Filetto, an ancient medieval village perched on a hill. From here, you can take a path that leads to the Gordana Valley, an uncontaminated natural area characterized by woods, meadows, and streams.
Adventure lovers can try their hand at the e-bike route that leads to the Gorges of the Stretti di Giaredo, a canyon carved by the Gordana torrent. The path is challenging, but the view from the gorges is truly spectacular.
If you prefer a more relaxing route, you can cycle towards the Green Lake, a small artificial lake surrounded by greenery. The lake is an oasis of peace, ideal for a picnic or a refreshing dip.
Among our proposals, we pay great attention to cycling tourism in Lunigiana and Cinque Terre with the "Pedala e Gusta" guided tours and the possibility of e-bike rental.
