Description
he Tower once marked the boundaries of the city of Canelli.
The Contini Tower is located at a scenic point surrounded by vineyards in the Santa Libera district of Canelli.
Access to the building is free and open, although (sometimes the door may be closed).
Why do many describe this tower as fairy-tale-like? Because there is a small wooden door, because there is a spiral staircase... a perfect location for stories of princesses and dragons. No princess hidden at the top of the tower, but a splendid view of the vineyards of Monferrato.
It is not difficult to reach this spot because a pedestrian path has been created to facilitate access from different points on the hill.
