Barbaresco Tower

The evocative historical centre of Barbaresco is a few kilometres East of Alba and is famous for its wine production. The Barbaresco red wine is worldwide known and most of the local economy and tourism live around its production and satellite activities.

On the road from Alba enjoy fabulous landscapes, endless sights on vineyards. The most evident medieval heritage is the Tower of Barbaresco, at the end of the main road and 30 metres (98 ft) high. It was built for sighting purposes for a large fortified village, but nothing has left.
