Description
The floodplain of the Po river, during the lean period of it, reveals what we call here “Spiaggioni”, that it means beaches. These beaches of the Po river extend and accompany us along the river paths. They disappear in the flood period and reappear during the lean period, come to conquer great slices of the landscape due to the low level of the river. They are often used as real beaches by locals or as a spot for some fisherman and his tent.
