Description
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Miracles, known as Madonna del Boden, is located in the municipality of Ornavasso at an altitude of 475 meters.
The name 'Boden' means plateau in the Walser dialect, and indeed the sanctuary is situated at a higher elevation compared to the town and the Toce Valley, but it was built on a flat area and is surrounded by chestnut woods.
