Description
200 metres from the e-bike rental point in Chiusano San Domenico, you will immediately come across the Fontana Vechia, which is the town's old fountain.
The Fontana Vecchia is the ideal place to refill your water bottles before starting your day in the saddle.
In operation since the 17th century, it gives travellers and villagers pure water that is always very fresh (even in the middle of summer!).
The central part, from which water gushes out from one of Chiusano San Domenico's many springs, is enriched by the presence of two side wash-houses, used by the women of Chiusano San Domenico to wash their laundry.
