Sorgente La Pila (La Pila Spring) is a strategic point for anyone wishing to explore Monte Tuoro by ebike from Chiusano di San Domenico or other places in the Avellino province.
Clear, cool drinking water gushes out here even in summer.
The unused water is collected inside a large basin used as a water supply point for fire-fighting vehicles.
In addition to the fountain, there is a picnic area here with wooden tables and benches. Thanks to the cover, this is a great place for a refreshing stop and to recover energy by eating snacks and other bagged food, before tackling the challenging dirt climbs to the summit of Monte Tuoro.
