Description
Taurasi is one of the best-preserved castles in the province of Avellino. Built in the 10th century, it has had a long and prestigious history and several illustrious people have stayed there, including Torquato Tasso, Eleonora d'Este and Carlo Gesualdo.
Since 2006, it has been home to the Enoteca Regionale per i Vini dell'Irpinia and, upon booking, it is possible to participate in the 'Percorso Sensoriale Tau', through which it is possible to discover Taurasi DOCG, Fiano di Avellino DOCG and Greco di Tufo DOCG wines.
