Information
Description
Recently the tower has been refurbished and now it is totally visitable. You can go upstairs and enjoy the sights from the wooden balcony.
The tower is 30 metres high (98 feet), there is an opening at seven metres high, perhaps once connected to a former gallery at second floor. The material is sandstone. The tower is so elevated because it was a reference point for near castles, and so solid as a defence instrument: from the inside there was a secret underground passage to get outside if everything seemed lost.
