Descrizione
Unique ad unrepeatable tour along the the regina viarum, the ancient appia. It starts from Cestius Pyramid near Porta San Paolo, you can reach the Circus Maximus pedaling comfortably along the cycle path of viale Aventino.
From there you will skirt the Baths of Caracalla reaching Porta San Sebastiano. Here we are along the Appian Way pedaling on cobblestones admiring catacombs, tombs, tombs, churches, villas, milestones: an authentic open-air museum that can be visited by e-bike. The great beauty of Rome takes shape in its most hidden places, along the Caffarella valley with its Egeria spring and its sacred wood and then in the large Aqueduct Park along the ancient Via Latina with its numerous aqueducts, partly still working. Everything is as extraordinary and intact as in a splendid painting from the Grand Tour.
