On the edge, both on the Italian side and the Swiss side are now visible what were the guardianship houses of the Guardia di Finanza of both states. That present on the Italian side was intended, by means of Interreg project, to become a new landmark for cross-border cycling trips, on the route that connects the North Sea with the Mediterranean Sea. Over the Elvetic border and lost a few metres (yards), it comes near a lush wetland and some constructions that we could see, the casermette of Swiss finance, a little church, and some artillery positions, carried out during the Second World War.
